When Babur the Mongol (Mughal) came from Samarkand (Uzbekistan) around 1530 A.D. India had been ruled by the Afghan, Arab/Turk and the Slave dynasty for around 350 years. Most of these rulers were psychopaths especially the rulers of the slave dynasty who have recorded their own destructions and looting.
Alauddin Khilji when he destroyed the university of Nalanda in Bihar and beheaded all scolars and educated people recorded that he burned enough books to cook food for his army of 100,000 for 1 month. Similary universities in Takshashila (Taxila) in present Pakistan and in central India were razed to the ground.
Obviously when Babur attacked India, it must have looked a lot like present day Afghanistan.
my oh my, queer u r still around?
Dude, I always wondered how someone with your wit and wisdom picked such a minefield of a nickname… I guess Feb 1999 was a slow month
net is an easy place for people to come on and start insulting others for no good reason as they don't risk their jaw being cracked.i've run into so many idiots like that on net who am sure would'nt have the balls to say it to my face what they say here.
Pakistanis should accept their closeness to the Indian culture and not feel bitter about it. Also distancing itself from India and copying the Arab Society would mean further Mullah-ization of Pakistan which does not augur well for Indians-Pakistani dosti.
Hello Swami ji,
I have a Hindu friend, a lady from Amritsar. She speaks Punkabi, I speak Punjabi. She and her husband are just superb people. She has gotten me out of trouble many mnay times and she has help me out in many many critical situations. We are very close, I visit them they visit me. But I think it has never been the cultural closeness. It is basically, accepting the differences and respecting that. She is a Hindu and elects to worship whatever, I have nothing to do with it. I am a Muslim, I worship and hold faith completely different than hers. She has nothing to do with this.
At times, we have talked and come to the conclusion that it is not the religion or culture, it is treating humans as humans and being good humans to each other.
*Now, you and all other Hindus, MUST leave behind this cultural closeness. We are not the same as you. The secret is not start doing things in Hinduistics way to live in harmony. *
The secret is to recognize the accept and respect the differences. Since 1947 you people have had this mentality of "same culture". We DO NOT have same culture. Had that been true, there was no need for Pakistan.
Majority of India is graziloIndid, Vedide and Indiobracid, Pakistan has some IndioBrachid but that's about it, plenty of differences. And no, Pakistanis dont all look Arab or Persian either. Pakistan is a unique place.
Pakistanis = Pakistanis
Indians = We are the same as Pakistanis...
If ever there was a group of people trying to disseminate a notion that the people of another country, whom they despise with all of their malnutrioned might, are the same as they are, its got to be the bhindians...
