First, the entire change in atmosphere in Pakistan astonished every one in India. It was a completely different attitude from the experience Gavaskar had mentioned in his interviews.
No doubt Pak citizens cheered the winning team.
In rest of your quotes you have mixed up too many things from past and present.
Can you confirm if Pak citizens have always welcomed the Indian team in the same way? Off course not!
Let me tell you the attitude of Indian audience……they never like to cheer the winning players (whoever they are…from Pakistan or West Indies) rather they show anger against the trailing Indian Team.
But when the guest team wins the match provided it has shown a great skill…..the Indian audience gives a very lengthy and loud clapping.
(I do not claim the same for Calcutta audience.)
Frankly I do not remember such incident published in Indian media. Such things create a major discussion in our ideological circles.
If it has actually happened…I blame only our people, including our Police for leaks in security. No excuses!
Shiv Sena threatening digging the pitch…If I am correct once a pitch was digged up in a Pakistan stadium, just before the match…and later there were rumors that it was done on the instructions of Zulfikar Ali Bhhutto. So???
Yeah, you idiot! to make you indians open up and say straight whatever the poison you have inside your hearts. Take it out. Pakistanis are open and straight forward to how they think of you but you indians are snakes hiding in our sleeves. Smile on the face and ready to kill on the first opportunity. bloody hypocrites!
Lagtaa hai sar pay kuch zayada zor say chot aa gayi hai meray jootay ki. Ultaa asar ho gaya hai. Hey someone, please take the poor guy to mental disorder ward.
What the f*ck are you talking about?????????? I dont understand your street language. kaise, teyha, bawari, what the hell is all that? And stop with this bullsh!t. Im feeling cheap.
Them’s the words of wisdom. None of my Pakistani friends (my best friend is a Pakistani) would dream of spouting anti-India venom I see in GS. So I have to agree woth RD that it happens so frequently here in GS because behind anonymity of internet people say anything that comes to their little minds.
according to Baburnama after babur arrived in India he noted 'India is a land of few good looks, of beauty there is none, of social intercource and manners, they dont exist, there is no baked bread, no ice.. etc...(u get my point) Indians historically have been a very rude, very much hated, poor mannered, evil and deceitful culture (even according to Alexanders the Great-the reason his troops mutineered at the Pak/India border). So its part of Indian culture, sure they have improved, but the basic rudeness and chronic insecurity is still there. Pakistanis have more of the middle Eastern/Persian closeness in their culture and soo the 'melmastiya' and treating of guests and foreigners nicely. U'll always notice, that Pakistanis are friendly towards indians, but not vice versa. Once the indians get together, no matter how many pakistani friends they have, they'll begin degrading and mocking pakistanis. In south asia, it is indians who have caused all the hatred, some Pakistanis are only recipricating.
