I have met many Pak citizens while traveling and I have found them always very cordial towards us.
I am sure that we all gathered here from India or Pakistan do not truly represent our countries because whenever we meet somewhere else, in a third country…our feelings are entirely different from this Gupshup.org show towards each other.
What makes us such non-sense in meetings at Internet?
well.. i spock jeee.. i think dats a very valid question..
coz also here i see only hatred.. and i do agreee that most dont hav the guts to say it on face.. so they try to be macho on net.. this doesnt make us modern.. bt more of ignorant..
being modern is being open minded.. appreciating wat is right.. and denounciing wat is wrong...
dats wat we learn wen we out of our normal culture.. bt looking at this forum.. seems like most ppl are still sitting in their old cages..
Anjjan is two faced, simple as that, he bashes islam and pakistan all day long here, and when someone mentions that, he is the first one to play act all innocent, even if his name isnt mentioned
A Pakistani neighbor helps us by dropping and picking up my daughter to/from School twice a week. How can I ever say that Pakistanis are bad ? Me a Bhindian/Bharti by the way.
If only common Pakistanis could reconcile themselves to the fact that they are culturally much closer to India than to the Middle East Arabs, we would get along just fine.
Answer: $tupid threads like this, by Baha-rat-is. These Rat-is are pretty mild when meeting face to face. However the banya in them wakes up when they are hiding behind a “Kompooter”.
It is my belief (you may disagree), that it is cultural closeness rather than similar religion that brings people together. Let me give you an example - I am a North Indian Hindu and I usually feel more at home with my Urdu speaking Pakistani Punjabi neighbor than I would with a South Indian Hindu.
Pakistanis should accept their closeness to the Indian culture and not feel bitter about it. Also distancing itself from India and copying the Arab Society would mean further Mullah-ization of Pakistan which does not augur well for Indians-Pakistani dosti.
If I ask why Quran says that deaf and dumb will not understand Ayats, or I question the Law of Blasphemy……Does it mean I am bashing Islam?
If I ask why the Pak Govt refused to pick up the dead bodies of its martyrs at Kargil….Does it mean I bash Pakistan?
Is questioning a crime?
Pakis use words…Banya, Bandars Bhindia, Bhindistan, Hindia……In fact I enjoy it.
Once an Indian had used the word … ‘Porki’ for Pakis…..I sent him an e-mail and requested him not to repeat it….He agreed.
When I meet my friends from Pakistan we crack jokes...I tell them jokes about India, they tell me many funny jokes about Pakistan and if I have any confusion about their country, they are ready to share their ideas and feelings with me, and during those meetings I even forget that somewhere at Gupshup I am irritating their countrymen. (Off course I have never revealed them that I visit Gupshup.org)
questions can be asked with many intentions, on forums and in real life. the mannerisms of asking questions and the manner in which responses are cross examined can cast doubt over people's intentions of the questions.
Arey bhai mere…Pakistan was carved out of India’s womb…and India is much larger than Pakistan…so it is only logical to say that Pakistanis are similar to Indians rather than the other way round. You got ego problems with that ?
See these little things…how they can lead to distrust. Next you will bring up the Akhand Bharat topic and how India cannot digest the independence of Pakistan etc. Total bull as far as I am concerned. I can assure you that we Indians have fully reconciled with the fact that Pakistan is a separate country and that it is going to stay that way. Only when Pakistan begins to finger in Indian Kashmir/Punjab, Pakistan becomes our problem.
