Not really, Pakistan and India were carved out a united country, because they had differences and those that went with Pakistan didnt like the idea of becoming residents of what is now known as 'India' or 'Hindustan'. Alot of your culture practices are abhorred by us, satti etc, the only reason why some of you hate those primitive practices is infact because of our influence. Finger in Kashmir? well since we believe Kashmir is ours, you will have to continue to enjoy our fingering for the time to come. And honestly, if you'd get a chance, u guys would leave no stones unturned to annex Pakistan, thats just something thats framed into your mindsets, more than 50 years have passed by and you folks dream about reunification.
P.S. I understand your cricket team is crap, your captain sucks, you have no fast bowlers but that doest not mean you have to go all the way so as to integrate Pakistan just to get some decent fast bowlers, you can just ask us :)

You guys need to understand something about the internet, people who post on message boards like this are people who hold radical views and rarely represent the mainstream of society. Add that with the lack of accountability the internet offers and 5'6'' dork with psychological problems becomes a lion. If you came on here to read about cricket (like I once did a few years ago) the political and cultural talk can be quite alarming and disconcerting. Don’t let it bother, like I said this is all a great distortion of reality.
Despite all the internet banter I can honestly say I don’t have any problem with Indians and have many Indian friends. In real life, politics and religion are issues that cause division and you don’t really aggressively discuss them.
We are not dieing to be CLOSE to India.
Indians should learn that we are distinct from them.

You know when I listen to a ghazal by Jagjit Singh or see someone like Karishma or Kareena Kapoor or Hrithik Roshan or I listen to bhangra (us Pakis love bhangra) I think “we’re the same man, we’re one people and only religion is different”, but when I see people being insensitive towards our religion then that puts me of right off… Or when I meet a south Indian person, they’re usally very nice people and I get on with them but there’s not special closeness, they feel about as ‘apne’ as a Gora…
I’m a Muslim and quite proud of my religion even though I’m not very religious, Islam is an important part of our lives so obviously we’re going to feel proximity to Black/Latino Muslims, Arabs, Indonesians.. But I also love my culture and when I here a Indian speak Hindi or Punjabi I instantly feel close to them but the attitude of Hindus on the net towards Islam puts me off… I think there’s misunderstandings on both sides.. I know there have been many bad Muslim rulers/invaders over India, some were the response of Indian Muslims being persecuted by the majoirty others were just greedy… and I know that if taken out of context and misintrepreted there’s verses in my scripture which can seem quite ‘usavoury’ but rest assured Pakis or Muslims are not out to kill Hindus or anyone else on the streets, we’re taught to deal friendly/kindly with those who do not persecute us because God loves those who are just.. Like everyone else in this world we just want to live and let live but every where we go we’re faced with hatred, not just from other Desi’s but Whites too now because of our religion, when we return words of hatred it’s more of a defensive/insecurity thing than geuine hatred..

That “Pakistani” neighbor is a “human being”, any other Indian helping “Pakistani” is also a “human being”, I can’t really say whether our cultures are “similar” but I can really tell that we know each other’s culture much more than European or East-Asians would know, after all we used to live in same neighborhoods. Politicians and Armies on boths sides will never let go of any opportunity to claim the existence of animosity, just like we blame Americans “need of an opponent (Russia, alkayeda)”.

TWNB, yes there are bad Indians, there are stinking Indians, but not all of them are bad even if they stink (physically) they have a heart, so you should have a heart too and not just brush all Indians with one color. I agree that anjjan may not have best of intentions but by branding all Indians as you did you are stooping down to his level which is not healthy.
