Well, Pay Fay's (PAF's) love for eff-sola does seem useless.

If we get out of slave mentality (instead of salivary mode-meaning just drooling over things) we can do anything....!!

Have we noticed how much of "Pakistani News" is actually NOT Pakistani or ABOUT Pakistan?

We don't get to see the regular news of average Pakistani doing something good or places to see in Pakistan etc........

Good/positive things are there but not mentioned commonly on TV/Radio.

I don't think we are in a slave mode. We have to adopt with the modern world. I remember Sir Syed Ahmed Khan use to advice Muslims to learn English. He established many institutions where English was translated into Urdu so that Muslims can advance in science.

There is nothing shamefull about it.

If you want to talk about slavery, than you have to look at a part of our population that has lost its identity. There are many who do not believe in Islam and Pakistan any more. They think Islam is over-rated or can not solve the problems that we deal today. They do not believe in Pakistani people, the same people who's grand-father gave their blood sweat and tears for Pakistan. If you want to ask who are the real salves, than yes they are the one who are lost in an oblivion like no other and the saddest part is they don't even realize it.

What I mentioned was unnecessary use of English on TV etc. etc.

You think Syed Ahmed Khan preached people to speak English or abandon their own language in daily life. If so, then think again my friend.
All his idea was to learn new information even if it is in foreign language. That is great

What we see now is Cheap imitation and brainless, mindless and monkey-like acts which will never ever get us into anywhere.

We have forgotton that WE CAN ALSO THINK and MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

We are still following penal code made and given by someone else for the most part.

We essentially have stopped thinking!! A major sign of laziness.

People make needle to airplane for us and we act like 'droolers and beggars'.

We wait for foreign aid with open mouth each time someone else gets an aid and willing to pay huge interest!

I say you have presented great points.

What I tried to propose is to use any language if it is necessary.

We know there is no reason for pakistni media to UNNECESSARY use a language which majority Pakistani don't even understand. Keeping identity is not bad thing while learning good education regardless of whatever leanguage it is available.

As you may see in my earlier postsb which I see you also said more or less same thing........ just mimicking and copying is not a good thing. I do see too much brainless copying as you might have observed as well.

'Begum Nawazish Ali' Show on PTV funded by people also a living example of slavery mode. Such an obnoxious show to be exact.

Copied after a british show 'RuPaul Show' in 80's.

Why would you think PTV pick a Heejra Ali Saleem for the show which all things aside shows lack of intelligence and educated discussion on his part!

Pakistani deserves better than blindly following other shows.

  2. Do you consider ***‘Hejra’( hermaphrodite) ***lesser being than your self ??
    Do you feel ashamed to see these people are getting time and recognition on prime time and popularity. Why ?

You post suggest that you harbour most ugliest form of racism against some people, just because they are different. I am sorry to say but this hate against deprived people is most sickening aspect of our social character.

Are you suggesting Pakistani culture belongs to people who do not even have 2 % of population? We are seeing a flood of these kind of people on PTV. Not as much as on other cable networks, why?

Copying from other sources with no thinking is not a smart thing..would you agree?

Let me know if you find ANY useful question this person asks on TV from the guets besides getting hinted from Mr. Khar for a date? or asking about number of marriages someone had in past. Do we care to spend time on substandard shows or spend tax-payer money?

Its not about lesser or better being. Its about what you and your kids are going to learn from messed up TV shows like that. I am not sure about you but many would not like their kids (older/younger) talk the way show host talks. Agreed?

What kind of ‘race’ heejray belong to? Off course as a human being they need to be respected for who they are if they were born such a way and no one suggested they be treated badly or so.
Its about the culture and education and norm considerd by majority…nothing more than that.
