Clarification: A great friend reminds me that this show comes on AajTV which I do not subscribe to. So it may very well be AajTV show but somehow I saw it twice on PTV-Prime. I am also being told that PTV-prime is more ‘liberal’.

Are you suggesting Pakistani culture belongs to people who do not even have 2 % of population? We are seeing a flood of these kind of people on PTV. Not as much as on other cable networks, why?

Copying from other sources with no thinking is not a smart thing..would you agree?

Let me know if you find ANY useful question this person asks on TV from the guets besides getting hinted from Mr. Khar for a date? or asking about number of marriages someone had in past. Do we care to spend time on substandard shows or spend tax-payer money?

If you do not like some tv shows then dont watch it. Simple. There are dozen of pakistani channels and wide range of shows. Watch GEO ! there are dozens of talk shows which are dedicated to serious topics and social issues. Go and watch them all day long. Whats the problem ?

Its not about lesser or better being. Its about what you and your kids are going to learn from messed up TV shows like that. I am not sure about you but many would not like their kids (older/younger) talk the way show host talks. Agreed?

Children learn from tons of other things let alone a meagre tv show, there are more obnoxious real life dangers for kids… so you better worry about these …Hint- hint

What kind of ‘race’ heejray belong to? Off course as a human being they need to be respected for who they are if they were born such a way and no one suggested they be treated badly or so.

And lastly, language is in my opinion least important issue at the priority ladder. Urdu is our national language and english is official language. Both are equally important for us and I think there should be no fuss about it

Its like, someone gives you bad Icecream which you bought and if you complained about it or pointed it out, the person says “you should have bought the icecream from someone else. There are plenty of other shops…you should have gone there! Did I beg you to buy it from me?”

The point is that media needs to be reminded of what the impact of irresponsible and out of norm presentation can be…not only on short term but on long term.

I already mentioned my respect for them as human being. Apart from that, no hush hush and no political correctness from my side.
In fact I am being honest and open and you are not coming out of closet and saying the reason why would you want heejras on TV despite knowing that its not generally acceptable to talk and act like that for the sake of cultural integrity.

I am prefectly OK if a man or woman from physically handicapped or even
socially deprived background comes on TV as a host and who has talent as
being the host of a show.
I would accept any normal behaving person from any corner of the society or from any religious background, black, white, brown or yellow etc.

To be honest I could not decide for a while if this was a funny show or a serious show and since I was not familiar with this person so my friend an I kept going back and forth trying to decide if this is a man or a woman.
Imagine what a young person would feel watching this idiotic show.

I guess you want people to accept someday ‘mummy’ and ‘daddy’ being indistinguishible…as long as you get the medal of being ‘open minded’

I said ‘unnecessary use of English’ and by all means daily life conversation in English on Pakistani TV is unnecessary. Hope you get the point.

If people think it as sub-standard show (which it is NOT ) then they would stop watching it. The fact that most of the top notch celebrities and Top polititians come to the show, it is evident that they regard it highly
