Education system in India can use lots of improvement. If you dont have Science or Math aptitude, you are classified as not being very smart. Some kids with no aptitude in either struggle to make it thru high school. System produces folks that may not be multi-dimensional.
So it should not be abt of Indians are smarter ot dumber than Pakistanis. How can we make our systems better?

Agreed, but I would rather perspire for 8 hours than not-needed extra 4 hours ;)
They might be hardworking true..but then it requires a certain level of smartness to be hardworking and not just plain loiter around. A person might be the smartest one in this world, but what if he is plain lazy and has no attitude to work.
Who said they are more hard working? There is a difference between normal hard working vs. one who pretends to be hard working :D

My Indian relatives are greedy, don't know if they are smart. I have no Pakistani relatives.

Do they put more emphasis on education? Are they bigger degree-winners than our kids? Do you think they hold more professional positions than us in the work-field?
YES yes and Yes ! .. they are also less superficial and shallow then us ..
