Do they put more emphasis on education? Are they bigger degree-winners than our kids? Do you think they hold more professional positions than us in the work-field?

You cannot compare Indians in India and Pakistanis in Pakistan because of the huge difference in infrastructure, political and economic environment and sheer population in the two countries.

However, when I look at Indians and Pakistanis here in the west, I don’t see any difference in smarts. Indian and Pakistani parents seem to be pushing their kids in the same direction with education and extra-curriculars, both sets of kids tend to do well in school and I see enough representation from both countries (weighted by their population) in the work field.
