Indian Muslims dont know where they sit... Most I have met are just indifferent.. Although there are some Indians who use cricket as the Desi barometer for patriotism, and according to them, some Indian Muslims have gone so far as to offer people mithai when the Paks have won a game.

Sorry to disillusion you PP, but you must really stop this wishful thinking. Most Indian muslims (cetrainly not all) are just too busy making a living. Pro-Pakitani, pro-India all this crap is far from their minds. They are surrounded by a sea of Hindus where they make their living. Do you think they give a rat's ass about Pakistan? Or for Nepal for that matter?

Indian muslims are very pro-Pakistani. For them, Pakistan is their local meccah. During Indo-Pak matches as well during August 14/15th, security is beefed up all across India as Indian muslims usually celebrate 14th August as their independence day. Not sure about Shias in India. The richest Indian, Ajit Premji is also a twelver Shia. I am sure in the event of the next war, Indian muslims will be on our side. The way Indian muslim population is growing in India, Indian muslims will be in majority in 30% and then Hindus will have to leave India

Pakistan and India are two different nations.. not religions.. So regardless of what ones religion is, one should be patriotic to his country... If being a Indian mulsim makes u a pro Pakistani then why do we have Mulims in Indian team? Why do we have a Hindu in the Paki Team..?
So the religion doesnt matter and shouldnt matter. I would still support Pakistan if I was a Hindu. Similarly I would expect an Indian Muslim to support India and there is nothing wrong is doing so!

right now hindus are in majority so are they kicking out the muslims from india.Please give a thought before writing your s***.

I think Indian muslims r not like pro-pakistan but have a soft spot for Pakistanis as they r their muslim brothers. I have muslim friends from india, and they told me that in Ahmedabad or some city, whenever India would play Pakistan, they would, most of the muslims would be rooting for Pakistan, and also had other friends who don't mind who wins they say its all the same to them...so definately I think Indian Muslims do have a soft spot for Pakistan and Pakistanis. It's muslim brotherhood more than anything.

well quas is a person with full blown mental illness, so you can excuse him for that. and btw, most of indian muslims ive met are pro-india and not pakistan. i mean, they decided to stay in india during partiton, and that was there choice.

indian muslims may not be gung-ho nationalists in general, but all it takes is a pakistani to bring raging pro-india patriotism out of an indian muslim.

as far as cricket goes, indian muslims overwhelmingly root for india over pakistan....and a healthy representation of muslims in the national side has always been there for them to relate to.

rooting for pakistan against other teams is probably somewhat common, but then again you will find this with hindus too.

They get treated like second-class citizens and have to bear temple bells and bhajans etc. We need them bro- we need their support. Btw, Indian muslims are good in India.. we don't want to bring them over and start another Altaf chapter.:D

Bro, stop deluding yourself. The Muslims who migrated to Pak in 1947 (muhajirs) are treated as second class citizens. The Indian muslims can see that. Why would they want to leave their homeland where despite the minor communal clashes they are still respected citizens and move to a country which is on the verge of imploding.

As for them having to bear temple bears & bhajans, Hindus & Muslims co-exist in India. Hindus also willingly 'bear' the 'azaan' from the mosque.

2 contradicting state ments in one paragraph, now i know what kind of orrator you are, i remember your typo error orator with 2 rr’s thats your sense of orrator oh again a typo.

Like infinite said another baQuas. I am a Indian Muslim, I have recieved first class citizenship, I studied on a scholarship basis, did my engineering, i had no such problems. Yes the teacher’s are prejudice at times but its vice versa also.
But overall, I am happy in India.

Yes they are communal riots but, I feel the ones who do it are enemies of India. Coz they are politicians and some goons. Leave alone the Gujarat story yes it was genocidal. But I cant forget Panun Kashmiris also were treated the same way, from what I have watched the video and Benazir Bhutto exhorting the Muslims. But I am still waiting for more evidence regarding Pandit Kashmiris, from neutral sources.

So as a Muslim, I follow my own religion, I infact debate in the religious forum with all the friends out here, but when it comes to the truth, I have to destroy falsehood. I see that in every post of yours.
