No, they are meek as hell! Read the threads here; do you really think a "bit**y" person would take all that crap from their husbands and in-laws and their own parents and siblings and from everyone else too?

Hmmm.. I suppose I mean more those living in the west.. but then again they put up with a lot as well..

Just seems that in regards to other girls the claws come out quite easily tho ppl say that about females in general, don't they..

I don't think so. Have you every come across a kali kuri? Lol, I do have some black friends and they are nice, but if needs be they will not hold back as much as desi girls would.

Lol, I don't actually have any close black female friends.. Isn't the sterotype that they're more physically aggressive whilst some ppl think we're more gossipy, slag each other off behind backs etc? I dunno.. I suppose girls in general tend to turn on each other in a way men don't as easily - I think (eg. if a married man has an affair we tend to blame the woman rather than him or not think of them as equally at fault)..

Desi girls aren't. Western girls are. The whole of western culture is subtly ok with male bashing and naturally women who grow up in this culture would be used to that.

I find that my desi girl friends living in the West are generally very kind and softspoken, I mean of course they will stand up for themselves when necessary, but they are generally very polite and respectul.

Whereas my cousins in Pakistan are very veryyyyyyyyy rude and b*tchy. They're b*tchy to everyone, whether it be the maid, the karigar, etc.

I mean of course it's a generalization, but I've found it to be true.

I believe no one is **y ...its the society and company and most of all the upbringing ..that plays the role whether being a ** or not. I mean girls in pak are equally as nice as in the west but if a girl went to Pakistan from west and she treated the Pakistani girls like crap, degrade them cos they don't have much education as much, or ghareeb and society has forced them to live a poor life ...then she is bound to be **y towards the western girl. This just an example which I ve witnessed. So in general. No one is...but rather forced. Having said this we should stop stereotyping totally. In the sense that there's 2 girls one is nice and other isn't. And if you stereotype about the Pakistani girls...now the stereotyping on the not so nice girl can be valid but the other girl what wrong has she done to be put in the '**y' catagory? Hence I say stop the stereotyping in all.

Complaint to Azkar. Word desi ..is a stereotype..please if not the members of gs s request then in Allahs Name Ban it. This objection has come across so many times ever since I been here but you don't tend to take notice. Why is that?

Plus were all Muslims arnt we? And to use words 'Paki' 'desi' etc are used mor3 for racial slander rather then defining someone's backgrounds. By you (because you are the Administration) not banning such words makes you part of / in support of racial slander.Hope this is taken seriously.

Everyone who wants the thread gets more ‘hits’ or responses MAY use this word-DESI,… without thinking that even non-desis can have same ‘qualities’.

Hence the question arise:

Why not focus on qualities rather than who may have those, regardless of being desi/non desis.**

But again some people may not be very knowledgeable of non-desi men/women…besides what they see in movies/TV or read about them in magazines.

To respond the main question:

Sure they can be btchy, but what makes anyone even think they can be ‘more’ btchy?
