Ditto - Why even ask such a silly question that really doesn’t prove a thing. Many people here would think we dislike this stereo typing because we ourselves are desis but no we dislike stereo typing as a whole whether it be for Indians, ABCDs, FOBs, goras, Pakistanis abroad, Pathans, Sikhs, Punjabis, Desis, Black People any one at all ..
For me its close to racism since people make mere generalizations based on a very very narrow scope of thought.

Wow.. it's always the same posters who ge upset at 'sterotypes' when it comes to Pakistanis yet some of these same ppl continuously bash Indians, ABCDS and UK born desis.. *Ever noticed that those of us born and bred abroad don't get upset when you say negative things about *our countries (the UK riots thread was a good ex).. **Some ppl need to stop being so ridiculously sensitive.

^Well, you don't have that kind of relationship with him. I and hubby are best friends before we are a "couple" and we hardly argue. We joke and wrestle with each other like children. He has NEVER called me a "b**ch" but says I can be one if I am provoked. I am changing my attitude though.
