People in tribal area are getting ready for the Government action. They know that Jihadi-Judge Ifti is now out, so no more freeing the tribal and mullah criminals.
Local people are also revolting albeit peacefully against these bedoins. Moderate Pashtoons are our first line of defense against this Arabized savagery. But they must be protected by our government. Otherwise they will be killed first.
I hope and pray that these ba-ba-black coat lawyers should give the government some breathing room so that we can build up this anti-Jihad anti-fasad momentum.

Too bad he doesn’t know jack about NWFP, Swat, Kalam etc., because if he knew that Kalam is largely non-Pakhtun, there would be no mention of moderate Pakhtuns.
Not mention that Kalam is NOT part of the Tribal Areas

SWAT, Nov 7: Militants vacated the scenic Kalam valley in Swat on Wednesday apparently in view of a lukewarm response from the local people to their advance. **At the same time there are reports that security forces have left the area.

Madyan is not the most forward place to be in. My last experience there was in 1997 summer. I was touring the area in a Co-Ed group, the freaking jahils started thowing stones at us in the market place because they saw women with us. Things were fine once the women stayed indoors.

Who cares if they were pushtoons or not? The fact of the matter is that a town/city of Pakistanis were brave enough to stand up to these goons and tell them that THEY are the ones in control and do not need their leadership.

What do you mean, what does it mean? The locals have taken control of the situation - they have taken the police station and property, etc under their own control. Which is fine. If all your police and civil servants have run away, I'd rather have the locals keeping it all under their control than handing their governence over to a bunch of foreigners.

Good to hear, but there are still two other twons that need to be cleansed of these clowns...
Despite the Emergency, the govt forces, and I mean that loosely, are still no where to be seen in freeing those town...

Most Pakistanis dont know much about Pakistan. His ignorance is probably because he has never actually visited Pakistan much.
For him Pakistan would probably be Lahore, Islamabad and that awfully troublesome one hour flight to Karachi.
