Re: Arabized Militants on the run: Kalam valley now Jihad-free
Who cares if they were pushtoons or not? The fact of the matter is that a town/city of Pakistanis were brave enough to stand up to these goons and tell them that THEY are the ones in control and do not need their leadership.
I commend that.
I don't think that you realize that Kalam was vacated willingly because of the lack of grassroots support for their presence in the area. Another joke is to say the "Kohistani jirga" mentioned in the article when no such entity exists.
Man, its like when American's call all Middle Easterners ragheads, except this time it is Pakistanis who are carrying misconceptions about Sarhad to the hilt.
Re: Arabized Militants on the run: Kalam valley now Jihad-free
May be!
But we know full well about Afghanistan. So we’ll make sure that Pashtunistan is made in the heartland i.e. Kandhar. And anyone wishing to live in Islamic Emirate of Pashtunistan is more than welcome to go live there.
Re: Arabized Militants on the run: Kalam valley now Jihad-free
Most Pakistanis dont know much about Pakistan. His ignorance is probably because he has never actually visited Pakistan much.
For him Pakistan would probably be Lahore, Islamabad and that awfully troublesome one hour flight to Karachi.
Spot on bro. I have nothing against Pakistanis from other provinces, cities, but don't come here dictating whats happening on the ground in Pakhtunkhwa based on some equally ignorant Pakistani reporter who think places like Kalam are the same is Swat.
Even I would not be so sure about situation on the ground in northwest Kohistan, Chitral, where the local languages differ remarkably from one valley to the next and it becomes difficult to find Urdu, Pakhtu speakers.
