I have never heard of the word bibi. It is not a Muslim term. It is a indian term.

Bibi is a Urdu term, Urdu is a language of ethno-Indians Muslim, therefore it is a Muslim term because it is used by Muslims in the sub-con when referering to any female with respect.

Islamic culture and Arabic culture are two different things. Islam has it's own way, whatever in your culture is compatible to that of teachings of Islam can be considered as Islamic.
Just because it is not Arabic doesn't mean that isn't Muslim or Islamic. Islam is more then Arabia, Arabs are only 14% of the Muslim world. The rest of the 86% are non-Arab Muslims and non-Arab cultures.

The Quran is in Arabic, but I can get one in my language as well. We pray in Arabic, but I can pray in my language as well. Azan is in Arabic, but that can be made in my language as well.

And it was that very Arabi that said no Arab is better then a non-Arab and no non-Arab is better then Arab.
God choose his first Prophets who are the forefathers of the Jewish nation, what does that make it? God waited for the very last one to be any Arabi, what does that say that He had more regards for the Jews then Arabs? And why so many Hewbrews but one Arab and that the last one? Now don't tell me that God made a mistake by choosing or selecting Hebrews so many times and the very first to spread His word. So they turned out to be bad apples, and Arabs had to do the job.
God selected an Arab and only He knows why, but today it is the non-Arabs who have done more for Islam then the Arabs and it is He who have warned the Arabi Mohammad in the QURAN that just like I replaced the Jews with the Christians, the Chrisitains with the Muslims, Oh Mohammad I can replace you with someone else.

bibi is like a south asian term used mostly by muslims in south asia..so i guess it developed within their own culture? thats true..not everything muslim has to be in arabic,,we're all kinda different..but we're all muslim..and Allah swt did create us this way for a reason. since there is nothing called "islamic culture"..its just called Islam people..i guess the term bibi would just be a made up term by muslims of south asian decent..and even tho its culture....it doesn't go against the Quran..and actually kinda blends in with islamic lifestyle...since it is respective towards women..and the Quran does ask us to be respectful towards women..so i guesss it IS a muslim term. wow..that was confusing.

I dont know what you are going on about here brother, but surely the girls got more weight in her argument.
Arabic is the language of Islam, Arabs are the more luckier ones because the Quran’s in their language and the Rasool was one of them.
The biggest disadvantage on part of the Ajamis is that, when they convert to Islam they bring in a lot of unIslamic practices with them, and then failure to understand the Book of Allah (although translations are available how many actually do bother to read?)

Arabic is the language of the Quran but not of Islam. Mohammad (pbub) was Arab, yet his people didn’t just go around preaching in Arabic, they had to learn our language in order to deliver the word. Arabs have made Islam a monopoly for themselves, sometime even claiming that the language of heaven is “Arabic”, I ask why the hell you even need a language in heaven.
If Arabs are luckier then what do we make out of the Hebrews since Allah (swt) introduced more then one Prophet of His amongst them?
Arab also bring in a lot of their pagan qurayishi culture in Islam till this day, not allowing women to drive, not allowing women to vote, not allowing women to choose their life partners, force marriages, child marriages, not allowing women to get education so forth, calling non-arabs muskeen and rafiks, not allowing their daughters marriage with non-arabs, not allowing them property or citizen status in their countries.
Countries like Afghanistan and Indonesia are more Islamic and Muslim then most of the Arab countries. Arabs didn’t know Islam till the stepped in Afghanistan and were introduced ISLAM. Like Sheikh Azam of Saudi said when he went to Afghanistan he witnessed more people in the masjid in Afghanistan during fajar then there are on friday in Saudi. That Arabs bark and speak of Sunnah yet here the people are a living example of Sunnah.
After the Jihad with the Soviets, shalwar kamees became known as Muslim/Islamic, not as Indian, Pakistani, or Afghan. The Afghan hat became to be known as the status and style of a Mujahid, not as Afghan hat. Today both of these non-Arab elements are being used by Arabs and non-Arabs as part of their Islamic culture all over the globe.
There is a hadit that says Allah (swt) will spread the culture of those all over the ummat who so ever is the strongest and firmest in their belief in Him.
I don’t speak to Allah (swt) in Arabic when I pray because I don’t need to. It is ridiculous to think that God would some how prefer Arabic over any other tongue that you pray to him. There a billion people standing behind a imam reciting prayers in Arabic, most of them don’t even know what the hell they are saying and if they are thought something terrible in Arabic, the fools don’t know the language and will happily except as divine.

Yeah if you want to be an Alim and Imam and so on so forth. But I don’t think you need to learn an entire language in order to understand Islam, otherwise we wouldn’t have over a billion Muslims 86% of whom don’t speak Arabic. Today even Arabs pick up english books on Islam rather Arabic.
Islam has reached more people under Farsi/Turk then any other language.

I'm not saying who is better or what lang is better. And no one here is trying to be any one else. All I'm saying is that the Arabic lang has more respect and its on a higher pedestal than any other lang only because it is the lang of the QURAN. Now plzzz stop bringing in dumb reason. More Muslims want to learn Arabic than any other lang b/c of the Quran. True that the rasol was the only Arab prophet, however Allah (swt) made him the opener and the sealer. The friend and the beloved. Made his name right next to his.

Muslims want to learn Arabic, good for them, we all should it is a beautiful language. My point is Miss. I asked a simple question and you guys start an argument, there’s Kuffaar and Mushrikeen on this website who are just always itching for us to start fighting amongst ourselves over worthless things, chill out we’re all brothers and sisters.
I agree with Majestic that Arabic is superior to other languages (Qur’aan, Salaah, Adhaan etc. loose a lot of their meaning when translated and can no longer be considered literal words of Allah and Rasool ‘S’ ) but in a way I also agree with Logo i.e. that doesn’t mean Arabs are superior to non-Arabs.
Arabic is not only a language for Arabs, it is the universal language of the Muslim Ummah, if we can learn English and Urdu which are not our languages just for wordly benefits then why should we have a problem learning the language of Allah’s greatest Prophet :saw: and greatest Book, the language which will be of benefit to us in our Deen? I’m not saying we should forget our own languages, but being multi-lingual doesn’t hurt.
