Re: Arab Tablighis

reading the comments in this thread, i, hereby, declare that i am a MUSLIM…period!

i would rather be counted in the ONE firqah out of 73 that is on the RIGHT path. anyone who just sticks to Qur’aan and Sunnat are on the RIGHT path.

Re: Arab Tablighis

The fard-al-ayn - we should all seek these out and learn them - to be ignorant of them is a blameworthy state, but not one that warrants kufr.

For those who are sincere to what they know - their judgement is with Allah (SWT) if their understanding falls short

Bad behaviour is inexcusable for such is done willingly with full knowledge

It is for this reason that I believe those who have true knowledge are not on the truth until it manifests in their actions and their hearts light makes people love them. It could be that he who was deviant would be saved by Allah (SWT) and he who was on truth yet showed hatred and contempt would not be forgiven. Allah (SWT) loved Sayyiduna Umar (RA) when he was a drunk because He knew his direction and orientation that would bring him (RA) to His door. We should be receptive to guidance, sincere and praying for it … never complacent or arrogantly content that we “ARE ON TRUTH” because it could be that we are not on it … as long as we keep searching even after we have traversed distance to arrive at where we are - we need to keep our intentions such that we can always improve our understanding and arrive closer to the truth until we die … this is surest way to ensure our intentions remain pure … We don’t have time to judge others for all the grime in our own hearts, which need to be kept clean. This way we understand the predicament of each other and learn to be compassionate … and this … I believe is the one sect out of 73 that shall be saved …

That sect may not be divided along the lines that humans make - that line may be divided along another set of lines … perhaps it is divided along the line of sincerity and compassion and tawfiq?

Re: Arab Tablighis

Thanks for the suggestion. I usually do not speak about religious issues, and intend not to comment much about it in future. And I am not going to do propaganda for anyone. Its true that I find najdi position on istighatha and tawassul appealing to my heart & mind. I do not believe nor have I found any evidence that convinces me that any human alive or not has been given powers of execution in universe. I do not like najdi position on attributes of Allah, and also do not like their position on visiting graves or holy sites.

I do not find it an honest thing to believe in something that does not convince you, I might do sukoot on it.

Anyhow, thats just my personal opinion, I am not propagating or asking others to believe in it.

If you are interested in having access to traditional opinions [Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah] use this site: Ahlus Sunnah

It covers the common subjects newer brands are against

Also when and if you want to further your relationship with Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala recite: La illaha Illallah repeatedly with a mind that you do not know anything, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala knows everything. It’s good for our state
