NUCLEAR scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan has said that President Musharraf knew best about the shipment of centrifuges to North Korea from Pakistan in 2000.
Talking to a private TV channel on Friday, AQ Khan said Pyongyang received the shipment in 2000 under the rule of President Musharraf. “Musharraf wrote this in his book, so he knows best about this deal,” he added.
Responding to a question about his interview with an American news agency, he said the news agency twisted his words which gave the wrong impression.
He said that President Musharraf had mentioned in his book about the dispatching of centrifuges to North Korea and that his (Dr Qadeer’s) statement was carried by the foreign news agency in a distorted manner.
AQ Khan said when he was asked by a foreign news agency whether the centrifuges were sent to North Korea he replied that this had already been published in the President’s book.
He said that any question regarding the dispatch of centrifuges be put to President Musharraf. “Nothing could be sent without the supervision of the security forces,” he added.
To a question, he expressed hope that his detention will end soon.
The American news agency quoted AQ Khan as saying that North Korea received centrifuges from Pakistan in a 2000 shipment supervised by the Army during the rule of President Pervez Musharraf.
He further said that the uranium enrichment equipment was sent from Pakistan in a North Korean plane that was loaded under the supervision of Pakistani security officials.
He said the Army had ‘complete knowledge’ of the shipment and that it must have been sent with the consent of Musharraf, the then-Army Chief who took power in a 1999 coup.
LOL. Spock bhaijan, what proof do you have that Great President Musharaf was involved?
Only a proper UN/IAEA inquiry can prove or disprove who from Pakistan has been involved in the heinous crime of proliferation of Nuclear Weapons Technology to terrorist countries.
The statements by AQ Khan shows that Pakistan is an irresponsible Nuclear State that has made the world a much more dangerous place with its proliferation activities of Nuclear Weapons Technology. Wouldn't you agree? :)

Aalsi, out of desperation you are now asking 'me' for proof lol but its all coming out now, wait and see what happens, the unprecedented proliferation by the irresponsible dictator will come to haunt him now, and the sooner the west finds out the better, because they were the ones insisting on keeping him. Today AQ Khan has said he wont keep quiet because his co-conspirators are sitting in the presidency whereas hes being kept under arrest to die and stay quiet.
Re: AQ Khan: Centrifuges sold to N Korea at Mushy's consent
well If a person is President, Chief executive & COAS then how it is possible that he does not know anything ??
aur AQ Khan ne kuch apne kandoun per to le ke nahe geya aur army was under Mushi so obviosly sab mein wo involve hai
LOL. Spock Bhaijan. Please look at your opening post - this is what you said…
Rather than making allegations against Great President Musharaf, the Greatest Pakistani Leader since Quaid-e-Azam, you should be asking for UN/IAEA to do thorough investigation to identify who is involved. According to the statements by AQ Khan, Pakistan is the most irresponsible Nuclear Weapons state. The alleged heinous crimes of Pakistan’s proliferation must be investigated before it is to late and Pakistan gives Nuclear Weapons technology to other terrorist states. Wouldn’t you agree?
Re: AQ Khan: Centrifuges sold to N Korea at Mushy's consent
I have no idea whether Musharraf knew, or not. Could be.
Say I confess to something. Years later, I retract the confession, stating that it was part of a deal with government. I say a bunch of other stuff.
So the question is, who do I have a deal with now? What is my present motivation?
How are we to know that either story was true, that another story may not follow, or that some other political entity is manipulating the current story? He may be telling the plain truth now, but then again... We may decide to believe something we agree with, but that doesn't make it true.
Aalsi are you having difficulty understanding AQ Khan’s statements?
Correction, the heinous crime that ‘Musharraf and AQ Khan committed’ not Pakistan, along with a few other of Musharraf’s crooneis need to be investigated, though there is no need of an investigation now that AQ Khan is spilling out the beans. Again, this just proves that Musharraf is playing games with the west, he cashed in on this proliferation when needed, tarnishing the country’s image and yet insists he wants to be president for life. Its about time the west teaches him a lesson.
Aalsi are you having difficulty understanding AQ Khan's statements?
LOL. Spock bhaijan. I fully understand what AQ KHan is saying, but please do not hide from what you said in reply #3, which is:
wait and see what happens, the unprecedented proliferation by the irresponsible dictator will come to haunt him now
So basically, you have become the judge and the jury without a UN/IAEA inquiry into the proliferation activities of Pakistan, and based on hate, you continue to blame Great President Musharaf, the greatest Pakistani leader since Quaid-e-Azam. :D
Re: AQ Khan: Centrifuges sold to N Korea at Mushy's consent
Aalsi, both you and I know Mushy is as guilty as AQ Khan, but yeah I am all for an inquiry if certain knuckleheads are still having problems believing the senile General was behind it all. But unfortunately for you, these people who are having a hard time believing Mushys guilty, dont really matter much now.
Re: AQ Khan: Centrifuges sold to N Korea at Mushy's consent
Youd think that once his has been released he'd keep his mouth shut. What with him making all these statements now....how soon before he is picked up again?
No, I don't know that. Only a full UN/IAEA inquiry can identify the Pakistanis that have committed the heinous crime of Nuclear Weapons Technology of terrorist nations and made the world a more dangerous place. Wouldn't you agree?
Re: AQ Khan: Centrifuges sold to N Korea at Mushy's consent
^ No I dont because the actions of an illegitimate senile dictator and a rogue scientiest does not reflect Pakistanis. The retarded General committed the crime, not me or any other Pakistani.
This is a good because now the west, the only thing keeping this damned dictator in power will realize what a mistake hes been.

Spock bhaijan. 'Speculation my lord'. Only a full UN/IAEA inquiry can prove your allegations, and identify which Pakistanis are behind the heinous crime of proliferation of Nuclear Weapons Technology to terrorist states and making the world a more dangerous place. Wouldn't you agree?
I think it was not just Musharraf and Qadeer Khan but the whole Army and ISI.
You can not just point to people of your dislike.
Whole Army? Yes, the top brass was probably involved, but thats just a few select Generals, croonies of Musharraf. I dont like them, and yes, they were probably involved but they werent the main players behind it, aur kuch?

hehe, I wonder why you were so against the UN inquiry behind Benazir's death! Hyposcrisy at its best
