Sometimes you have to give something to get some other thing, this is life. Think about what you are getting and not what you are losing warna aazadi tu kaprey peheney sai bheee khatam ho jatee hai :)

Waisay honestly, the only azaadi you have before marriage is that you can sleep and wake up whenever you want
You still have to ask your parents for permission to go out and all.
Pataa nahin sab larkiyaan kaunsi azadi ki baat karti hain

I like my life after marriage more, now I have khulli azaadi… can come and go whenever I want, wherever I want, do whatever I want (I don’t live with in-laws since they live in Pakistan)… my husband only wants a courtesy call to let him know where I am. With me, it was having kids that took away some of my azaadi

I am definitely worried about my azadi for sure. I like to do tons of out-door sporting and camping with my friends during summer. And i will sure miss that..once i get married someday. You know what i am saying is, going with your friends is not same as going with your wife.

I am definitely worried about my azadi for sure. I like to do tons of out-door sporting and camping with my friends during summer. And i will sure miss that..once i get married someday. You know what i am saying is, going with your friends is not same as going with your wife.

Make a deal with your wife... you get to go camping, etc. with friends when you want to and in return, she can leave the kids with you and go with her friends, family, etc. for the same amount of time :)

I haven't had much issues as far as independence goes since hubby and I give each other some time at home to ourselves for our hobbies and socializing. As far as outdoor things go we both enjoy each other so like to take a lot of trip together that we would take with friends. sometimes it's good to see your hubby or wife as your friend as somethings are more enjoyable when you are with a friend. We joke around a lot more but never disrespect each other so i think that makes a difference in your marriage.
