i am a british pakistani and educated to a degree standard my two penny worth would be down to many factors, parental upbringing, area, culture, language, also individual choice. The indians are far more common than the pakistanis, so therefore there would be more indians being in education, holding degrees, than pakistani.
Yeah more Indians would be holding degres because they are more in number, that is Obvious.. what the study (and other similar reports) shows is the PERCENTAGE of indians being educated and employed is more than what the percentage is for pakistanis and bangladeshis..
Anyway, some of the other posts have done a decent job explaining different circumstances for Pakistanis in UK compared to the ones in North America. I don't quite agree with the point that Indian families are isolated, desis are desis! they are never isolated lol
