Speaking of Ummah... I think the so called Ummah doesnt exist anymore. If that was the case shouldnt a muslim soilder in a Pak uniform care and not kill a muslim soilder in the Indian unifrom and vice versa? But that is not the case and its only normal what goes on. So with that being said I think the so called Ummah is now limited to ones geographic boundaries and to me fighting for that cause makes more sense.

I agree that Ummah in its perfect sense have never existed. Even 1400 years ago muslims were killing each other. In jang-e-Jamal alone according to some sources 70,000 Sahabis were martyred. Question is should we totally drop this whole concept? or Should we keep on trying in the hope that may be someday we will be able to call ourselves a true muslim Ummah.

I'm speculating on if Apple had Mecca and the Kaaba in mind and you're on about killing. I guess some have difficulty reading English.

Anyway if you want to make a positive contribution, contact the blogger and ask him to stop spreading concoted stories.

Killing will eventually happen from speculations by intellectuals like urself.
You are right since we are a part of the muslim world that doesnt really understand the idea of tolerance, maybe stories like these should be kept off from a community such as hours. It may keep us in the dark but atleast keep a few from dying. Or we can learn to live with these things and instead of going insane over these issues just ignore them for once and think outside the box.

The problem is yes it is possible. As u can see the US with various ethinic background happens to be a super power. Why one may ask? Education is the key in my opinion. Unless and until muslims are educated (includin non-madrasa stuff) I guess this will be an ongoing issue.

Are u suggesting that a company like Apple would do this on purpose? I am sorry but I just fail to understand how a company could be willing to take a loss like this. I dont think it was meant to disrespect muslims or anything associated with them. Muslims should stop being extra sensitive and over reactive of what ever goes around the world!

This is my last post on this thread.
I guess people who thought cartoons of the prophet were offensive would probably feel the same if they think alcohol is being served in a building designed just like the house of their God.
I hope I am wrong but this could get just as worse and it would probably be the same people who caused a riot then would probably be the biggest participants of whatever this might bring!

The tension escalates when the non muslims taunt muslims further at an insult. If someone walks up to me and insults my faith with disgusting words (especially at Almighty swt and prophet pbuh), should i not knock them out?
