Anyways, well I was just thinking....is it really worth all the trouble? Sending the iPod in, getting it serviced, getting it back, then calling them again and telling them it's still not working properly, then sending it again, and THEN finally receiving the new one...then selling that on ebay for $130, then using that money to get the new one. is it really worth it?
Ermm if they're not gonna charge you for shipping back & forth and if you can wait patiently to get a new ipod, then yes, it is worth it. Once you get a new one, sell it on eBay or CL without opening the box and add some more money and buy a new one with more space
Thanks for the tips. Yea, shipping is free. The best part is, I can compare the new ipod to the one I have hands-on because my sister just bought it for her husband for Eid. I took pics of both side by side. I’ll post them in the thread later.
And just to let you all know…No, I don’t feel the least bit guilty about doing this all. Apple screwed me over - I’m only returning the motion.
whats wrong with u peeplaan messing up ur ipod? i never ever had such problem. what do u guys do with it? these things just dont start malfunctioning on their own.

Nothing is really wrong with my iPod, aside from the fact that it freezes every now and then (and that's a common problem with all the iPods).
phatima1 did u try using ITUNES and a USB CABLE, and then in ur ITUENS software there is an option to RESTORE/RESET ur IPOD, so it upgrades the IPOD, formats it, so it becomes just like as new as you bought it.
RESTORE YOUR IPOD FACTORY SETTINGS, and you IPOD will be fixed.
once have you have done it, simply SYNC ur songs again from the PC or the harddrives.
Make sure you have upgraded your Itunes to latest version before doing FACTORY RESET.
What, do you think I'm stupid or something?! Do you even realize what I'm doing here?!
I'm trying to exchange my ipod for a brand new one, so I can sell that, and then use that money to buy the NEW ipod that just came out. I'm not trying to fix the ipod. :D
Believe me its not worth all the trouble. Brand new iPods like yours cost something like 50,- Euro on German eBay. In US, it should be even cheaper. See for yourself:
Be a good girl, work hard, save some money and then get the newer version of iPod nano. You can always gift the older to some of your younger cousins, LOL.
