Re: TWO books recommended to read :>
a synopsis wud help....
Re: TWO books recommended to read :>
armughal,
maximum city is about bombay. and it has become what it is as a metropolitan city.
the talk about partition and its impact on the later yrs is also listed.
in the other book, Acts of Faith,
what is discussed is a very good acccount of what organized faith means and how is recognized.
hope this brief synompsis is good.
best,
Dushwari

Re: Anything worth Reading?
hmm.. dont know if uve read the following, but they're on my all-time serious-fictional fav reads:
kartography - kamila shamsie
suite francaise - irene nemirovsky
maps for lost lovers - nadeem aslam
i just abt got my hands on 'three cups of tea' by greg mortenson and this other writer. seems very interesting but havnt started on it yet. and im thinking uve already tried both of khalid hosseni's novels which are all the rage these days (and theyve all the reason to be... :))
umm and do u like classics? i dont always read classics in their originial forms.. but i LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE emily bronte's 'wuthering heights'. infact it's the only classic that ive read a few times over..
