Have been too busy to watch anything. I want to binge watch this show anyway because that's how I watch TV. pooray saal ka quota ek din main.
Yup, once you are done watching bearded lady shows on tv, you will get the time back.

Good episode about Faraday, actually made me quite sad at how things were made difficult for him at a young age and all the adversity he faced as he grew older.

LMAO! You really think I would watch those shows? I came across her video on Youtube while watching something else. I think her video was featured or something. I was intrigued.
I literally get prepared to watch shows like Cosmos. I keep the best for last. Like I said, I binge watch good shows. I want no spoilers. Remember Breaking Bad. I finished all seasons within a week.

Good episode about Faraday, actually made me quite sad at how things were made difficult for him at a young age and all the adversity he faced as he grew older.
Michael Faraday is one of my favorite scientists. There is a documentary about Electricity that talks about Faraday's experiments. Just amazing what brilliant minds like his can do.

Yes. Last week's show was all abt Faraday. Tough beginning as slims said. Immense determination. Classic rags to scientific riches story.
If u have watched Carl sagans Christmas lecture in Oxford (?) You will find it interesting that Faraday started this lecture series. Made it fun for the kids. This was a hair raising episode , Theory.

Maybe your kid can post what caught her attention after watching a show. Not as an assignment. But as something that stood out. She can maintain a word doc where new entries r made. And mom copies and pastes it here. This way kid doesn't have to be participating member.

Though I feel the last 2 eps were kinda too enviro-centric. Not that I'm against spreading information about global warming, hard to believe that with such proof, the existence of the phenomenon is often denied.
I just want it to be more about astronomy :D
Thought I do understand the need to educate everyone about the impacts of green house emission and Cosmos is a great platform to do just that.
