What did you think of that film? I thought it was so cliche (obviously according to western standards), but- it just seemed so lame. It was like a cheap spinoff of Jeet..except the guy who didn’t get the girl this time wanted to ruin her life. Two thumbs down on this one…

I think Shilpa was looking different, but she had too much eye liner on. She has a good face and everything but, she DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO ACT!!! Kick her OUT!!!

all the trailers I saw and All the songs and music videos I saw when I was in Pakistan this summer made it seem like such a good film.
I cant believe I sat there watching it, hoping it would get interesting
I know- and every movie is like 3 hours long, so once you are already watching it, and are an hour or so into it, you may as well finish it up. I juet kept hoping for something to happen, anything interesting...but nah. blah. I haven't seen Kaho na yet, but I need a good hindi film right now to get over that one. I think the last really good one I saw was Kuch Kuch Hota Hai..

a bit different then boy meets girl, girl and boy are in love, sing songs, and dance, in comes villian the father boy kills father, girl gives a damn that the boy killed her father, boy and girl again sing a song
I liked the movie cause the story was close to reality i guess (read the thread in General....real life stories ...it couldnt come much closer to reality then this)
Shilpa looked so elegant throughout ...her expressions went according to the scene demands and
Akhsay ooo lala ...in that song Dil nay kaha he looked umm so oo lala
i was disappointed with Sunil ...he just slept through the entire movie
Mahima looked great in that song
It was far far better then Fizul and Refugee and Deewane and Tera Jado Chal Giya
I am getting bored with Ash ...in all her movies she has the same role the same expressions the same dialogues
PS. That is not the eyeliner but a blend of black eyeshadow with a black pencil ...its in fashion these days to blend your eyeshadow and pencil ....rather then use eyeliners
I think ur right Anchal about Ash. She has a preety face I MEAN A BEAUTIFUL FACE but her expressions and style r the same since her first movie Aur Pyar Ho Gaya.

True. Desert, I kinda like that Anchal is disagreeing on this topic. I don’t know abotu the other stuff..that’s between you two. Um- but Anchal- have you seen Jeet? These movies are so similar, except the “bad” guy in this one ruins her life instead of protecting her.
Like- that movie came out before this one, and I watched that first. Also- this is a realistic film, but I think that this film was too predictable. I do think that the actress in this movie was very pretty. And..hmm…where’s my eye shadow…?

However the cast of Jeet failed to deliver what the cast of Dharkan managed to present so beautifully

Sunny protecting karishma …now that was a story not even close to reality
Shilpa is ok except she has a small face but she has brushed up on her acting skills …i think she looked fine
I like realistic movies …thats why i prefer art ones …
Kher it delivers a powerful message to young teenagers that what ever step they take in the present would most probably come and haunt them in the future …

Dharkan did run moothly- like Hum Apka Hai Kuon. I guess I just like movies that aren’t so predictable, becuase 3 hours, yo!
