They both have similar libraries. What games do you want? I personally went with the 360 because it has more games that I want and at the time I bought it it was cheaper than the PS3. PS3 doesn't have anything I really want at the moment and the removing of PS2 backward compatibility from some of the SKU's makes it even less appealing to me.

Nope. It never was. XBox Live will have exclusive downloadable content though.

PS3 has better graphics, plenty of games now in the market, Blue-Ray player ,80GB HD and motion censor . It s way ahead of xbox.

PS3 for me is an awesome system, it certainly has more features than xbox360, hands down, undeniable fact. It is more powerful, and has some crazy potential.
Although, PS3 does lack games, this is where XBOX shines, because it has more games, reaching a wider market.
DETAILS on PLAYSTATION 3
1. motion sensor
2. The Cell (8 Cores, 1 processor, 7 SPEs, all at 3.2 Ghz) which means its insanely powerful.
3. Free online play
4. Downloadable content
5. Small selection of game (for now)
6. Some exciting exlclusive games: GOD OF WAR 3, MGS4, etc.
7. Processes frames faster, so the quality of the video output is clearer, and smooth. which means games that come out for both XBOX and PS3 are different, because the framerate is tweaked up for the PS3.
8. Blu-ray, DVD burner, CD burner, Reads all types of CDs/Dvds/blu ray etc.
9. USB, wireless, card Slot, etc.
CONS:
1. no game has yet harnessed the power of the system, I'm hoping MGS4.
Although Elder Scrolls Oblivion isn't that bad, it comes close!

I might come online when family will leave for holidays. ;)
At the moment kids are playing:
Ratatouille and Rise of the Silver Surfer
with Sonic, Rachet and Clank and Spiderman 3 safely hidden in the closet.

I'm not sure about the graphics though. Some say It's all same and there is no difference. I even had some screeners to look at and I hardly found any differences.
Another question (If I decide to buy PS3):
NTSC or PAL? What do you suggest? Some complain NTSC can't play all Blu-rays though Pal can.

I haven't played PS3 but from what I've heard, the graphics are comparable on both the XBox 360 and the PS3. I finally got my XBox 360 when Halo 3 came out. I'm not into modding my consoles. The only reason I'd think of doing that would be to play imports.
