Different rates....depends on the kind you want....they range from 12 riyals till 200 :D

Shopping is real cheap in some areas in Jeddah.

That is true. Makkah and Madina are double the prices as compared to Jeddah

If you are planning to visit Jeddah (btw its prohibited to go outside Makkah and Madinah boundries, if you r travelling on Ummrah Visa), i suggest you to shop from Al-Balad, Gabel Street or Hera'H street, best places to shop in Jeddah.

I grew up in KSA. Haven't been there in years, so can't really answer your question. I will STRONGLY recommend that you eat a shawarma when you're there. That's one of the things I miss the most about KSA....and I always tell the one going there to do make good use of that opportunity. Eat a shawarma, Zareen.
