I grew up in KSA. Haven't been there in years, so can't really answer your question. I will STRONGLY recommend that you eat a shawarma when you're there. That's one of the things I miss the most about KSA....and I always tell the one going there to do make good use of that opportunity. Eat a shawarma, Zareen.

I am afraid that's wat u have to live on ( shawarma's / Braosted /junk food) during ur stay in Makkah, as just recently Makkah municipality has demolished all the near by Pakistani and Indian restaurants and nearest one is abt 2km from Haram.
