Did any of you ever called the soul of a dead person (Rooh Bulana).
We used to do that (amongst friends) and I always wonder if that was true or not.
We use to recite 4 Quls while putting a finger (at least 3 people) on a bottle cap, with a very light pressure, while the cap was sitting on this board or big piece of paper with numbers, alphabets and big Yes and NO written on it. After the soul entered the cap (???) the cap would start sliding towards the appropriate writing on the board, when asked a question.
I remember calling Shakespeare’s soul and asked him that name of his last play (which we did not know at that time). Cap slide towards an alphabet. Later on I asked others and that was the correct initial of his Last play, he wrote.
Any experience you guys want to share. Any other thoughts. Do you believe?
you mean to say you invited a soul using a home made witch board......????
Do you believe in such stuff????
No I dont believe in such stuff
We used to do that many years ago (we, as in kids from my old nieghborhood). Something used to happen, there. We sometime suspected each other that the other kid is forcing the bottle cap to slide, using his finger, but dont know.
I just want to know if any one did that and what is their take on that. I want to keep this as non-religious as we can. I know that Islam's take on this issue and I have absolute faith on that
when i asked you " do you believe in this stuff…? i ddnt mean in a religious way…peole do believ in such stuff only when they are little kids but not when they are grown up i’ve never believed in such stuff even when i was young…but i was once slapped by someone when i was little… to this day i could never understand who the hell slapped me…i dont wanna believe that it was some JIN or bhoot parait…But
*all i was doing was ..stealing some mangos in the afternoon …but i * climed up to that tree pretty high and i was alone…i dono who the hell slapped me then… thats the only experience i can recall…
heard about such stuff.. watched in dramas about similar things. don't believe.
What I believe is actually religious but I will share anyway.
Souls of Pious people (often referred to as Awliya) are not put in Illiyeen after the death but since soul is made of light, it becomes part of angels and hence become free but work with angels. They do visit us but we are not aware of.
Yes. I have done that. We did it when I was too young to know any better.....and the concept behind my involvement in the whole process was that I was "innocent" and could not possibly cause the movement of the item that was being used such as the bottle cap that you used. (My brother, the skeptic, had requested the cousins shown him the process. He wanted to prove that it was all a hoax that they were putting on.)
The questions we asked were about the future and eventually, every single one of those predictions came true. Right down to the date. It didn't bother me then. I was too young to grasp what had actually ocurred, but it creeps me out now and chances are I will never participate in such activity again. I may observe, but my finger will not be on the bottle cap.
I have, on numerous occasions, seen and felt the presence of those that either belong to a different kind of world (i.e. the world of the Jinn) or those that have passed on. I am not learned enough to know the difference so I can't say with certainty that these have all been souls of humans that have died.
I have also been told that there is an "angel" (the soul of a young boy) that is with me always and watches out for me. Unfortunately I have never felt his presence or seen him.
Whenever I have asked people if we are able to communicate with those that have left us, I have received mixed replies. Some say we can and others say that we cannot access those souls. Some say there are souls that are doomed to roam the earth forever because they took their own lives. I suspect that I will have to do a great deal of reading on the matter to formulate my own opinion.
One thing that I do know for sure.....it is NOT forbidden for women to go to the cemetery. I researched and confirmed this when my father passed away and later re-confrimed when Ammi followed him.
Women are discouraged from visiting the cemetery IF they are unable to maintain decorum and modesty. If they fear being overcome with grief, crying unconsoleably (sp?), or in more simple terms "making a scene", then they should not go. It's all about modesty; about not attracting attention to oneself. (I remember wanting to go to the cemetery to visit my uncle in Karachi and my cousin's eyes popping out of his sockets saying "How can you even think of that!? All the "murday" will see you unclothed!!! Girls should never go to any cemetery. You people that grow up in the west know nothing about religion." From that day forward I have always remembered that cousin as "Blithering Idiot".
Well when I was younger, we used to play with the Ouiji Board...same thing, board with letters/numbers..and a little white circular like thing with an arrow or sumthing, i forget....everyone would put a finger on it and let it move....
I never believed in it then and neither do I now...basically its just pressure from all the fingers....right now try it....put your finger on the mouse...im sure eventually it'll start sliding from weight of hand, pressure etc...so whatever. But I guess it was fun when we were kids. My thought is how can something that is mass marketed, actually let u be in touch with dead spirits, come on now.
Sadly we tried levitation as well, especially when kids got together at a dinner party...
anyone did the Bloody Mary thing....i forgot we would say bloody mary a few times in the dark and then go look in the mirror i think...supposedly u would see her ghost...who knows.
I know back then we were scared as ever!!!!

Okay...that really is sad!

Repeating "Bloody Mary" a few times in the dark is a delay tactic that serves to acclimatize (sp?) your eyes to the dark. Once they have adjusted, they tell you to go to a lit room with a mirror (preferably a bathroom). As your eyes adjust back to the brightness, you see shadows. Your mind, expecting to see a ghost because you've been told that you will, convinces you that these shadows actually form a shape.
Yaar, I was a kid 12 or 13. What do you expect from a kid?
ALso, although soul calling may go against Islamic belief system but Jinns and Muwakkils do exist. And they have the abilities to interact with human beings, every now and then.
The reason I did not start this thread in Religion section cause we dont want to argue on that. We already know that. But human mind plays tricks on you. Sometime the illusion seems so real that you dont know how to explain this
Look at what Muzna said“The questions we asked were about the future and eventually, every single one of those predictions came true. Right down to the date”
Now how are you going to explain that. One way is to call her a lier or call it a coincidence. Or is that if our mind hear something and it embeded in our subconcious mind, Allah makes it come true for us.
