After observing few people who seems to like to discuss and emphasise the good aspects of their own gender and bad aspects of the opposite gender, on the forum and in real life, with “generalization” in alot of cases. My request from them is to kindly sometimes “also” consider the good aspects/qualities of the people of the opposite gender and honestly criticize the bad aspects/habbits of the people of their own gender. There is no need to try to prove one’s own gender to be superior. I am sure such people would have had a totally different point of few, had they been born as a gender opposite to their present one.
All the Prophets of the past, the majority of scientists, philosophers, saints and people who have done develpment in all the fields of life were mostly men. Also, without a doubt women have played their vital role as a mother, wife, sister, daughter…and a number of other fields, without whom it would not have been possible for men to achieve success in “any” field of life.
SO, it is not appropriate to de-grade women in order to prove men to be superior in anything and vice versa, and that too with “generalization” and not accepting or mentioning “any” good aspect of the other gender. We should be fair in appreciating the good qualities and point out the bad habbits of both the genders, after all we can not depend only on any one specific gender. We also have a father, mother, sister, brother,…etc.
p.s. The reason behind starting this thread was the attitude of some people who seems to like to see only that side of the picture which suits them and supports their own gender.

hmmmmmm i dun thnk most of the people think there gender is better off......cuz i personaly think many gurls think guys r better off......they have the freedom...strength and authority to do wotever they want to....i have achieved a lot being a female......but am sure if i was a guy my parents would have been more happier then they r yet......

I think this life is more difficult for men than women.....Men have more responsibilities like taking care of their family, earning money, and then going to wars.....the only responsibility that Islam requires from women is to giving love and respect to their husbands and doing good tarbiyah of their children.
I'm happy that I'm a woman(alhamdulilah).....bcoz I have less responsibilities than a man.

Submission to peace i see ur point there. Men and women are different, but thats the beauty of it they complete each other. And i agree with u. It's more on individual basis and not gender, rase, nationality how a person is.

I am a man, however, I disagree to your conclusion. Giving good tarbiyah to children is more difficult than fighting any war. It is a much higher responsibility than finding money to feed the family.

& some people see others in such a bad frame out of their own vision, that the true image of others, gets utterly out of shape - as it has been completely distorted on purpose.
