Re: Any solution to this common poblem?
I'm with you Maham!!! Atleast one must think positive and do their best when the time comes. Be it love marriage or arranged, you are not married just to one person, you are married to his family. And so you are obliged and expected to be a good bahu, just like you were a good daughter at your parents place.
All the single ladies, the least we can do is to be positive and think good for the future family and future parents( MIL, FIL), rather than having dreams of separating the poor guy from his parents. Let the time decide if seperation is absolutely necessary or not.
Re: Any solution to this common poblem?
^ Its not about separating the guy from his parents. How many guys here would like to live in his wife's home with her parents? Not too many right? So why must a girl conform to this cultural thinking?

Huh? Who said this is cultural thinking alone? Are you contesting Islam too? This i what is in Islam too...It's just that it also gives women the right to ask for a seperate accomodation if his husband can afford it.
And please lets not make everything a contest...if he can do it why cant i?! males and females are different in so many ways...nature wise, emotionally, physically, etc so there are going to be things one can do and other cant, etc. For example, why do we expect guys to give us their seats while travelling on buses, or while sitting at an waiting area? or why does it have to be a male of the house who must go out and check the house/gate if there is a doubt that an intruder mite have enter the house? i have yet to see a female say no i will go and mange it.
WHY are we so insecure with ourself that we have to stoop to such comparisons?
