Yeah, I think I am. I have my mom and siblings on my side, thank God so I’m just going to have to stand up for what I want. Sucks, because I obviously want my dad involved and happy but I don’t think it’s fair to me or my BF to just end it because my dad doesn’t ever want me to get married.
I know it’s hard to talk to big groups of people, especially with guys included, if you haven’t done that but practice makes perfect. Do you work? Surely , you interact with people there? Or if you’re in college, there should be a Muslim Student Union or something similar. Get more active in the community in those ways. =)
