Jk even if u don’t find someone of that quality don’t settle with anyone because you deserve more than tht and you are worth more than that. There are still lot of good people out there.

Is the problem that your parents aren’t looking or they’re saying no to everyone. I know how you feel. Not that I’m particularly old, but I feel like I want companionship that you get from a spouse/bf. My parents, too, aren’t social but because I’m a social butterfuly, the aunties in the community know me and I’ve gotten calls for rishtas for a while now. BUT, my parents have said no to every single one. Granted, some of them were garbage but there were a few that could’ve turned into something real. My father gave it no chance, by declining as soon as they called and expressed interest.
So I got lucky and found someone in school that I’m absolutely in love with. Perfect guy, aH. But…guess what? Dad’s still not happy and still saying no. Still doesn’t want me to get married. I went out and FOUND THE DAMN GUY and it still isn’t good enough–even though he has everything that’s listed on my dad’s stupid checklist.
Point of the story is:

1. you’re not alone
2. don’t beat yourself up because your parents aren’t finding anyone/saying no to everyone
3. BE SOCIAL. Don’t do it for the intention of finding a husband necessarily. I realized that I’ve met some awesome guys when I haven’t gone in with the mentality of finding a marriage prospect. it’s funny how things work out and iA you’ll find someone that will truly make you/your parents happy.
   

A bit of both. Yeh, our parents dont understand that we cant stay single from birth till we’re like 30. All the people I know my age, have had someone or some are married. Not in a hurry for marriage, but id like someone to share my sorrows with, the pain that my parents will never understand.
My parents arent social and they won’t let me be social. And now I just feel awkward around a huge crowd. Aww so what u gonna do? Will u go ahead and marry him still? Like in the future?
