Re: Any good swimmer on GS?
when I was 18 I won a major event in central london
so I guess i am OK
Re: Any good swimmer on GS?
Great! Can you tell me the technique to breath during front crawl?
Re: Any good swimmer on GS?
sure
how I remember is that you eyes should be looking at the front wall of the swimming pool and the water should be just under your eyes if not on them. Some may decide to keep their head down in the water ofcourse but this is the way I used to do it. You breath by turning you head side to side at the beginning of the recovery arm. You breath out from the nose as normal. I will pm a more detailed one to you
Re: Any good swimmer on GS?
Geeezzz.. you seem to be like me :hehe: i had also joined swimming classes last year n tried my best in everything to swim like a professional, but i failed in what ur looking for.. ya in breathing technique. I had found very good site for swimming techniques where you can also download videos, here it is Learn Swimming Now i’ll try again in this summer. You know i had spent 4 months just to learn one thing called “cycling” :hehe: but still can’t breath properly.
Re: Any good swimmer on GS?
Thanks cheetah and hollowman! I am becoming a swimming freak! I really love it!
Re: Any good swimmer on GS?
I am also swimming freak but not good at it :(
i joined a 6 weeks course and now i am alot better then before. Now i can do 4-8 lengths easily ofcourse not in one go :D. I have the same problem of taking a breath at the moment i am doing a in out technique :) take a breath (out) and swim keeping my head in the water (In) for a period of a time.
Re: Any good swimmer on GS?
Thanks to cheetah's advice, I can now swim 8-10 lenghts in one go.
Re: Any good swimmer on GS?
Well almost in 8 months time, I can now swim 1500 meters in one go. I went to Aga Khan Hospital swimming pool and swam 15 laps of that nice 50-meter olympic size pool in 65 minutes just 51 minutes short of the world record.
