you are still missing my point. i'm not talking about the fantasy in terms of vampires etc. the characters, their interactions etc are not aimed at adults who have lived and experienced. it's idealism and purism for children who have not yet experienced those emotions or relationships.
maybe, but that doesn't stop people from all ages to enjoy those books. just because i know something isn't real, doesn't mean i can't like it.
There were two aspects to my posts. My own personal dislike of everything Twilight which you're free to disagree with. Secondly, what I described as unobtainable with reasons already given.
^ here’s your Edward Cullen - the desi version. Its the personality you are after anyway. And I hear this guy is a true knight. So yeah, your dream man does exist. He is out there, go snatch him before the girl next to you does.
That’s YOUR desi version of Edward Cullen??? You impose your view of EC on us? More importantly…do you not find it the slightest bit…erm…odd/queer that you’re going around looking for desi equivalents of EC?
I see that pic…and hear the dialog, “Yanna rascala…MIND IT!” in my head.
See? it was NOT about personality. You could have just discussed how pretty the boy is, without bringing the 'personality' part in. You shallow lot!
nicely done, J!!
women are such liars, they fool even themselves.. 'personality' my ass!
i was watching this show on what turns men on and what turns women on. men don't care if the girl is dressed like a kaamwali or a model, if she's attractive, she's attractive. women find the same guy attractive or not depending upon if he's in a burger king hat or a banker's suit.
in other words, women are hardwired to be gold-diggers and shallow in materialistic ways beyond just looks. all this emotional nonsense that accompanies them and talk of personality - pure bovine excrement.

True said queer. What is funny is how they constantly emphasize on how shallow and materialistic men are and how deep, emotional and unworldly they themselves are. And its not even completely about fooling others, its about fooling themselves into believing this bull their minds come up with.
