"Any A Novel"

Re: "Any A Novel"

everyone, let's not make personal remarks about the author. It is human nature to like or dislike a piece of text, but in both ways try to bring forward why you like or dislike it.
e.g. if you dislike a certain text, then do not say
"wat a piece of junk"

instead, say

"well, I don't think the inconsistencies in place and time is a good way to write this up. Perhaps you should try to restrict your story to Aristotle's unity of three"

or

"I think the end of the story is too abrupt. The idea of introducing a deus ex machina to solve everything is not the best way to go, since it disturbs the flow of precedings"

Since I've had to clean the thread a few times now, anyone not being able to offer such a reply, will receive a warning :)

Re: “Any A Novel”

Re: “Any A Novel”

LB – I think your post responded to the removed post and was therefore no longer relevant. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Aisha – I do agree that the novel still needs quite a bit of work. But you shouldn’t stop writing. No writer is born perfect. No writer is ever perfect. But they manage to write beautiful pieces because they are willing to take chances, convey their insights, and put themselves into their writings. Write this story and keep reading. As you gain perspective you will come to it to deepen and refine it.
