Using this logic many of us also have an Indian connection. Many businessmen moved between the two countries when the division took place. That’s another fact that the same people were living on both sides of the line in any case.

Its just not the connection, but the seeds of a fruit which are major link here. But then potato and tomatoes are also not of Indian origin. As far as potatoes are concerned, probably they didn’t exist in our part of world 4-5 centuries ago
