Anti-Pakistanism in India

Re: Anti-Pakistanism in India

I like how my links about the attacked students and his friends helping him against the aggressors was glanced over. Or how he said he would visit India many times as he had many friends. Also my links on free medical camps by indian doctors in Pakistan as well as the treatment of Pakistani patients on health visas to India were glanced over.

Yes there is some bigotry at the government/authority level which us mere mortals do not have power to change. However in the articles the guy is arrested for extortion and the charges against the Kashmiri students were dropped as were the charges against the college students who were expelled for comparing the PM to Hitler/bin laden. It’s still wrong and shows increased censorship but just like prejudice against desis/Pakistanis/Middle eastern people in airports or in political propaganda in the US, UK does not mean the entire country is prejudiced the same is the case here. Or JOhn McCain’s “Bomb Eye-ran” speech would mean all Americans are prejudiced. Politicians of these countries have made dubious statements about Pakistanis and Indians. After 9-11 there have been claims of false charges, hate crimes and Guantanamo Bay related issues. Does that mean all Pakistani Americans living there feel it is not safe?

All this proves there is no wave of anti-Pakistani sentiment overall in India.
