Anti-Pakistan Army

Next time you abuse a Pakistani soldier, please run these statistics in your mind before spitting out a judgment.

Pakistani soldier’s whether Army, Air force or Navy, Have to go through the following
experiences….

  1. When you have to wake up at four in the morning just to scream at the top of your voice with your spit drying, and mind sleeping, saying “Pakistan Zindabad.”

  2. when in (-1) temperature, at the Pakistan Air force Academy, in the month of January at 2 o clock in the night, you have to summersault in a dirty pond just because your seniors think this is the way to crush Pakistan’s enemy and engrain patriotism in you.

  3. When in a parade, in June, on a frigin hot summers day you have to Parade up and down a 2 KM parade square, just for the solidarity and respect of your country.

  4. When in June or July you have to do a hand stand on your head on a sweltering tarmac, just to prove it to Indians that we will burn our scalp and head for our country’s honor.

  5. You eat, breath, live, and prosper, because Pakistan is there for four years day and night. That’s the patriotism that is inculcated in every ounce of your blood.

  6. All my course mates who were in GD(P), when you asked them , “why did you join the air force” not one of them gave the expected answer that We joined to learn fighter flying. They all said “We joined to get “Shahadat” for our country” I was totally puzzled and used to make fun of them, and say I just joined to get my degree.

  7. Last but not least on your graduation, you swear your “LIFE” to the country in front of the Pakistani flag and the Quran.

So Next time Please Do Not Question the Army’s motive.

Do you think any civilian politician goes through such a rigorous routine to love their country?
I THINK NOT…..

SO your Army, Air force, or the Navy, would be the last people who would want the country to go down the drain.

If this does not clear your misconceptions then nothing can.

Re: Anti-Pakistan Army

Excellent post.

Army makes mistakes, but there loyalty to Pakistan cannot be questuioned by a bunch of hairy faced Arab jockeys.

Re: Anti-Pakistan Army

And who are that ??

Re: Anti-Pakistan Army

so is "the real deal" or other army bashers "hairy faced Arab Jockeys"?

No they are entitled to their opinion and so am I, But at least they should realize where to draw the line.

Re: Anti-Pakistan Army

Pakistan Army soldiers goes through no different experiences then soldiers of US Army,UK Army and every other country in the world…yet they think they are special

Most people joining Pak Army do so for the ‘benefits’. A simple look at the mansions retired General’s live in show what a lucrative deal they get

Pak Army has ruled for most of Pak’s existence, thus are mostly to blame for the sad state of the country.

If the majority were truly professional soldiers as they used to be, they would be respected, instead of resented by the majority of the nation

Sad, but true

Re: Anti-Pakistan Army

UTC, when i saw the title of thread i thought you will remind us of Shuhadaa of 1965, or 1971, or of Kargil or Aziz Bhatti or Rashd Munhaas.

I dunno why you chose instead to post the first 4 points which is nothing but crap. Making a summer sault in dirty ond at mid-night just coz ur senior wanted to have ur arse, is just stupid. This abuse happens at many places. In russia a young man lost lower half of his body from gangrene coz his senior army officers thought out of blue to tie him to a chair so hard that blood supply to lower half of body was cut off. We have heard stories of death of couple of young recruits in army, though press has not been allowed to publish it in Pakistan.

Secondly, people cross Pakistan so respect the army, and much more in past. But over involvement in civilian affairs does not do any good to army's image.

Thirdly, army men are not the only ones who under go tough trainings. Go and see the life of anintern in governments hospitals, they work 36 hours at stretch with no sleep/rest twice per week on call, and on weekend calls they work 56 hours at stretch. Despite that they have the presence of mind to tell you about each and every patient on their ward without having to look into patents chart. This goes on into residency that spans atleast 5 years, or if you are into surgical sub-specialities for 8 years. And when they are called upon despite being awake for 50 hours they go and more difficult job than yelling Pakistan Zindabad with sleeping mind.

And next time you cuss poor people of Pakistan, plz remember, you dont' have to under go
1- Stand at roadside for hours waiting for someone to hire you for Rs 100 for 8-12 hours work.
2-Yor can pnly afford to give half a dress to your kids, one child gets a shalwar and other a kameez
3-A constable may slap you whenever he feels like it and you can't even complain
4-If you become sick, all you get is see a doctor and nurse and fluids in hospital, you are asked to bring medications that you cannopt afford and then you run around offices to get Zakat fund
5-In blisterung heat of june, ur kids do not even have decent shoes. There aircondition is to drink water from a mutka. And if they get cholera they'll likely die in a district hospital.
The list goes on and on

Re: Anti-Pakistan Army

Mard-e-Momin, Mard-e-Haq …Zia ulu Haq was the true professional ,right??That’s why your lot tolerated & respected that dictator for 11 years?..As i am thinking of it,It is nothing but which ever dictator you guys like to propagate becomes your mai baap(& then there is nothing wrong about it:halo: )

Re: Anti-Pakistan Army

Here’s one from the archives:

I have nothing against the soldiers, but the generals…I find it funny people think they r any less corrupt than the politicians.

Re: Anti-Pakistan Army

Take tips from “the real deal” how to write a rebuttal.

Secondly your whole post is confused, inconsistent, and incoherent, a typical corrupt attitude. I will tell you why…
You ((Edited for calling Iconoclast a ..., I am sorry) the first four points are not there as an advert for Pakistan’s Armed forces. Each point ends with a message, but I think your brain can’t pick the implicit messages in my post so let me make it more clear “I was trying to show what is the level of motivation of our soldiers, how much love do they have for their country. What they have to go through to reach this apex of patriotism. GOT IT!!!!!”

Any soldier enduring all this for his country would never want his/her country to get destroyed either by an external enemy or internal forces like our corrupt politicians.

Secondly who is talking about working hours??? 8 hours or 50 hours a week??? Stop comparing apples with oranges. What the hell are you talking about…

Now my sincere advice, Please don’t waste my time by replying in my threads, I have overlooked your rant many times, but this time I think you had to be put in your place.
But next time I wont be there to give you pep talk.

Take care
UTC.

Re: Anti-Pakistan Army

Dude, next time go to officers mess spew these rants over there, you'll ur two aana tips from them, obviously u do not have an attitude of participating in a public forum.

btw, this should also be sent where your previous writings have gone. I think wide Pakistani audience needs to be reminded these things!
great job!
And keep up the good work and stay here regular and keep writing.

Re: Anti-Pakistan Army

Also, once few days after the CJ issue began, one of the channels (i think ARY if I recall correctly) had a few guests over including minister of state for defence, the young Ali Asjad Malhi. Also present was Raja Pervaiz Ashraf of PMLN. As usual all opposition was spitting anti Army venom, insulting the Army as an institution, not just the corrupt generals. but the whole Army. Ali Asjad gave them a good reply which silenced them all and they suddenly came up with excuses; the usual 'we have nothing against the army, it's just the generals'.
He quoted the Nur Jehan "Aye puttar hattan te nai wiqdey" from 1965 and asked them all if they knew how it felt to stay up at the border at night guarding the motherland within the enemy's range of fire? Did they know how it felt to have a son doing that? Did they know how one was made capable of doing this duty for the country? did they know what courage and motive is required to do that? And, how it felt to be ready to die doing that or how it felt to lose some loved one doing it? AND, did they think one having done this duty forgets it after 30 yrs of service upon reaching a star rank!?
Insults to the army, or any govt institution is never an insult to the govt it's an insult to the country. unfortunately many don't realize the difference and encourage fuzzing out the line distinguishing both.

Re: Anti-Pakistan Army

Haris: He's calling other members moron and u r applauding him? Now I understand where he is getting all the rep. points from. Let me take a screen shot of this for future reference.

Re: Anti-Pakistan Army

I dont have much time these days but I cant help point out this DUMB post! I mean talk about being STUPID! Ok so if someone joins the army he joins it because hes going to become a retired general after 40-50 years and life a luxurious life?? You idiot, do you know what percentage actually makes it to such a high rank? Also, when you become an engineer, a doctor or whatever it is that you are, dont you think about benefits, perks and money apart from whether you like it or not? You are one DUMB individual, your PPP jiyala-ism has fried your brain. You should join the Zardari lovers army are you arent worthy of the Pak Army. I bet Zardari would personally administer your medical test and you would fail in flying colors!
