I had a lot of respect for this guy but he lost it all. Instead of working for human rights of his own people he chose to sit as caretaker minister and as minister the only thing he did was to pardon a criminal who worked against the state and people of Pakistan. Then holding a press conference just to boast himslef. On top of that he has been spending the tax payers money to publicise himself and giving protocol to a spy, while he has not done anything for hundreds of missing and deprived of his own country.

Meray bhai...all senior Pakistani officials can get a SAARC visa from the Pakistani foreign office within minutes! If some idiot has released a rumour that he didn’t have a visa, it doesn’t make it true. He has a SAARC visa and can travel to India anytime he wants.

A shame really that a Pakistani prisoner has been killed in Indian jail due to torture and the great Burney is now telling his relatives that his body will be returned on the next few days. Just heard on GEO. That is how India has repaid his gesture.

Rather obvious, had I mentioned an Indian visa. I said SAARC visa, SAARC as in South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation of which Pakistan and India are members! The Pakistani foreign office issues SAARC visas to Pakistanis, just as the Indian foreign office would isse SAARC visas to Indians.
And because India is a member of SAARC, Burney or any other person with this visa can travel there or to any other SAARC member state. Therefore I stand by what I said before.

Now when the great Lawyer M.D. Tahir has moved the Lahore High Court against release of Indian convict Kashmir Singh the so called human rights activists and Human Rights Federal Minister Ansar Burni has come with a peoples fooling statement. M.D. Tahir has raised a million Rupees question that the children of Chief Justice Chief Iftikhar Mohammed Choudhry including a 9 year old are house arrested without any written order even depriving them from schools but the self trumped Ansar Burni never felt this a violation of human rights. In return to this criticism from M.D. Tahir, the Federal Minister has come out that he was not aware if the Chief Justice or his family was under any house arrest. Can a God fearing honest person believe this? A doctor or an advocate even if he is out of practice remains to a good extent updated about his profession. Ansar Burni an advocate is ignorant of house arrest of Chief Justice can it be trusted. Small children, uneducated people know this. My 10 years old child of 5th class last month when I was watching the news asked me “Papa today the TV did not speak Iftikhar Mohammed”. The worst people I dislike are Ansar Burni and Abdul Sattar Edhi. When Sattar Edhi threatened that he would shift to India, my brain gave some signals. When 90 children ran away from his shelter this created some questions in my mind. When her young wife ran away with five kilo gold ornaments all peoples donated I doubted this man. But when he shouted on levy of custom duty on ambulances imported I started hating him. Today knowing like Altaf Hussain, he is also getting US Nationality in my eyes Faisal Saleh Hayat and Pervaiz Elhi are dozen times better than Edhi. I was then working at the Bahrain Airport before joining Saudi Arabia. Ansar Burni came to Bahrain to a 23rd March Pakistan Day Celebration arranged by the Pakistani Club in Bahrain. I had great admiration for him reading about his activities for helping prisoners. But when I saw him my impression was not that good. He remained in Bahrain for 3 days. I was told he was heavily drinking there. It made me sad. Due to his so called humanity work many people like me had respect for him. A rich Pakistani family felt pride to keep him in their home as a guest. As is usual with us the family to their best served the Guest feeling honor in becoming host to such a person. At the airport with a small group of gathering having come to see him off including the Pakistani club executive members, Ansar Burni showed the cheapest mentality. He complained that he was of such a high status person that the foreign governments take much care for him but the host family did not care for him. Later it transpired from the family elders that one day the family was a little late in serving him morning tea.All respect for Burni from my heart and from many people who heard this went down in the sewerage. In connection with Pakistani prisoners in Bahrain later when recently it was desired that Ansar Burni be invited, a group of elders strongly recommended not to do this.

Man you must be MD Tahir lol. Ansar Burney said that he was informed by the Ministry of Interior and Law (I think, cant remember) that former CJP was not under house arrest. But he asked them for formal written confirmation which they didnt give and because of this Burney boycotted the last meeting of the cabinet in protest.

By cousin was part of a team (Ansar Burney's organisations team) that visited Kashmir after the earthquake and my cousin told me that this man used to sleep on the footpath in his tent! That he would personally go to every house he could and do all he can for their families.

No its not a shame, I agree with Ansar's decision of hiding the facts till kashmir singh was released.
Inada can't be that stupid to kill a pkaistani prisoner at a such critical time , when pakistan was considering releasing an other 30 some thing prisoners.
It msut be an accident and it should be treated so.
Till like 15 years ago both countries have million year old weaponry, I could never understood that what information, an indian walking on the street of lahore, could send back to india?????

Well today Ansar Burney spoke to the Zee TV correspondent that he will put the case of Sarabjeet Singh to President to pardon him. Seem she is not satisfied freeing one spy, he want more to be released.

But Sarabjit is NOT innocent, so I dont see any problem. BUT, IF he was innocent than ofcourse he should not be hanged. Lets see what the government does.

An Indian with legal documents can walk/talk on the streets of Lahore
The Problems starts when the illegal people with almost no connection to Pakistan start doing it, I mean, Kashmir Singh or Sarbjeet ( as per my info) has no business in Pakistan, why they were here illegally, in the first place?
The info on where abouts of strategic assets and location does matter, all the nations tries their best to have latest information about their enemies, and YES India is our enemy as much as Iran is enemy of Israel.
Unless the disputes between the two nations are solved, and haterdness is wiped out from the hearts ( which seems to be impossible) USA-CANADA like relationship is not possible.
Till that point, exchange of spies and wrongly accused innocents on the both sides will continue.

Burney has done more for humanity and Pakistan by helping prisoners in horrible conditions and he is a greater man than all of you on this thread including me, combined. Don't be jealous when you don't know what this man has done. It's amazing how some of you are willing to give Taliban terrorist the benefit of the doubt on every occasion, but cannot do the same for a charity worker. Shame on you all.
