Re: Another Attempt At Musharraf's Life
it will take at least a generation to clean the govt agencies of these malicious elements who have clearly invested themselves too much into an alliance with who used to be 'former friends' of the country. Agency agents are supposed to work for country's interests, no matter how often they change, and not for their personal convictions.
Re: Another Attempt At Musharraf's Life
Has to be an insider job and also shows that someone from within is against Musharraf now or has been waiting for the opportune moments.

The guns were transported right near chaklala and innocent old ISI never knew.
Re: Another Attempt At Musharraf's Life
Looks like there are many AQK type personalities in ISI, its time the government dissected ISI and tool control of their activities and funding. They have their own network and ambitions that do not necessarily run parallel with state well-being or world integration.
Re: Another Attempt At Musharraf’s Life
I know musharraf isn’t fit for his job now but in the past he has done some good. Lal masjid are a bunch of sickos who are trying to spread islam yet use weapons and try to attack people. Wow, talk about hypocricy.
God…this is so sick and disgusting ![]()
Re: Another Attempt At Musharraf’s Life
Reminiscent of the last days of Zia. ![]()
Re: Another Attempt At Musharraf's Life
^
Zia's last days were very calm and peaceful. Same with Bhutto, the poor guy didn't know what swept him off.
Re: Another Attempt At Musharraf's Life

Dont misunderestimate Pakistan man. We r not a one-man team. If we can survive Jinnah's loss so early on..why not any other xyz?
Re: Another Attempt At Musharraf's Life
No Flame I'm not underestimating Pakistan. Pakistan is here to survive through all think n think inshAllah! And it is worth gaining confidence from the mention of how Pakistan still learned to walk even though Quaid was gone by the end of year 1. But I do feel that since our vital systems are still frail and ironically no organ has matched our system perfectly yet, we might be in for some upstream swim in very rough waters every now and then until we atleast let one resuscitating method to perpetuate at least long enough to properly diagnose, gain/re-gain enough strength and ability to survive further strenuous and draining treatments for improvement. And at the moment, Musharraf's exit sound so much like a chief surgeon's departure from the OT with the patient lying on the table opened up on the chest and the assistants or observers having little clue as to what exactly could be done to complete the procedure and ensure safe and healthy return of the patient to normal life.
Now whether it's the chief surgeon's fault or the assistants' or (rival) observers' that they lack the ability and competency to carry out the complicated procedures and ensure healthy return, by fate, by choice or by various designs, could be another matter for concern.

The situation at hand is that "chief surgeon" is actually a quack who has ousted all doctors from the OT and brought in butchers from local market and insists that he has what it takes to save the patient.

Its debatable whether Pakistan survived Jinnah's loss. The Pakistan that was then sure did not, some version of Pakistan did. even if we dont factor in the east Pakistan issue.

wrong analogy, the 'butchers' as you call them had been arounf even then. He has just been able to deliver resulst even with having been forced to use the same old butchers. And there were no surgeons that were ousted...they were dhaka pass dangar doctors who were selling the nations organs.
Thank You

U have a point but Bangladesh had language riots even when Jinnah was alive, plus with geographic incongruity and totally incompetent one man show at the top meant Bangladesh would be separated sooner or later.
