recall that govt was asked to hold elections..
in the first term when musharraf’s hands were not tied and he was not made to work with the crooks that ppl wanted to vote into office, the country did better.

‘elections’??? oh, you mean ‘selections’, what success did he achieve with corrupt elements by his side? He could’ve easily brought in his own new parliament, I am pretty sure each of brigadier has atleast one son or one son in law who could’ve easily made it to parliament and Busharraf still could’ve run his show.

So country did better in 1st half? or 2nd half?? I thought economically all reports point to the 2nd half.
