Pakistan is going through energy crisis, they are looking forward to rental power houses as interim solution ( though expensive) but they for some funny reason, they are not looking to benefit from this offer of Iran, It is offered at 5 0r 6 cents… but i guess there is not kick-backs offered ( main thing for zardari and his ministers)

I hope Anwar Pasha and other Jiyalas of PPP can tell us if this is the reason they are die-hard supporter of PPP

All the politicians, all the govt. officials ( including officials from armed forces) says they have not done corruption of single penny, they are clean and all the cases against them is just result of ill-intentions of some regime...

So the question is, if there is corruption in Pakistan, who is criminal? who is doing it? why not nabbing them? why not prosecuting them? who is stopping who?

Iran had better save his own @rse. They are under sanctions. Pakistan should not touch them even with 10 foot pole.

It doesn't make sense to get "FIREE electricity" or anything. Iranians are not the parents of our "collective bahoo", and thus they are giving us electricity in jahez alongwith a brand new BMW and furniture for the living room.

Or perhaps this is yet another sign of childish mind of Iranian spokesman.

we should let our industry die either due to power shortage or due to high electricity (rental powers) cost.. this is pretty much acceptable by the MODERNS of Pakistan, but last thing they want for Pakistan is something beneficial... yet this deal can be "deal-destroyer" for rental projects.. hence big loses to west, which you cannot tolerate... so you have to call it off..

Pakistan has to pay for what it wants to buy.

We need 30,000 MW right away (and 100,000 in the next 10 years), and Iranians CANNOT supply that much. They do not have the capacity. Even if they wanted to be the parents of our "collective bahoo" and give Pakistan electricity in Jahez along with a BMW and the drawing room furniture.

The only way out is that we must sign all the treaties and then work on updating our internal policy towards KBD, Thur, and nuclear.

If we don't there is no way anyone including Iran could ever save our industry from dying.

if we as a nation had been paying our electircity bills since last two decades this crisis wouldnt have been there...

Anyways, it is not the topic we are discussing.. we are looking for the interim solution in RENTAL POWER HOUSES, which are not feasible, even Asian Development Bank has reservations on it, and at the same time, we have an offer to buy comparatively cheap electricity from Iran... why not use it.. why go for the expensive one??? this is question in hand

well i do pay it as well in full and no kunda or theft but i was not just talking about my self or just you or few others but nation as whole.

one can do whatever its not that we cant generate it but problem is more they generate more loss they suffer.

A really important thing to look at before jumping on the "Zardari-chor" bandwagon.

---- Pak has to build lines to transport it. (and that will be HUGE expense)

You cannot use your balti or bucket to transport electricity.

Thus the cost of importing electricity must include the investment in the lines that would carry it from Iranian power plants all the way to Pak somewhere in central Sindh or Southern Punjab.

This is a HUGE international project where Pakistan may have to borrow money from IMF, World bank etc.

Hello,

Pak government is in total control of the anti pakistan mafia i keep referring to. Since my last post here, the power outage duration increased suddenly from a few hours a day announced to 18-20 hours during 24 hours. I remember one of my last posts was about expressing a desire of making Pakistan a strong, self sufficient, dignified, capable nation & country and the load shedding started in the next 3 days.

I do not have 1% doubt that the same certain anti pakistan mafia is carefully observing what I and some other posters write here. I remember very well before zardari got elected, how spock spoke aggressively & wrote why having a corrupt history, he cannot / must not become a president or Pakistan. And that is exactly what happened. He became PRESIDENT of Pakistan.

Now whatever some Pakistani posters talk about here, getting to understand a few things here & there which include some old problems from the history and present country affairs. A little community that we were slowly making. Getting to agree on certain things, see a direction, see certain things clearly.

They do not want that. They want to crush this online community which is impossible to make without electricity. Many of us cannot use the internet without electricity. So, they force the present Pak government to make make sure the Pakistani people are without electricity for 18-20 hours a day. That's what's been going on.

In the recent past, there has been so many incidents of power plant & other financial help in the power sector from many 'friends' of Pakistan, can any of you believe the government's stories of still being short on electricity for the people of Pakistan? it is all stage show for the stupid, uneducated, naiive people of Pakistan who have no power to drag this corrupt government brought into power by the mafia which is no looking at 'other options' to destroy Pakistan.

As their earlier plan of having it bombed by US or bomb it themselves making an excuse of 'terror organizations' (created by the same mafia) existance on the Pakistani soil does not seem to be taking place due to change in US government & the fact that the people of the world are becoming more and more aware of the real facts....... the of indian-israeli agenda of destroying Pakistan in whichever way they can. The world's other nations & people are now specifically watching these stage shows & getting to the depth of who's operating from behind the scene. Since the 'bombing' Pakistan to send it 50 yrs behind option did not work, they are now using various different 'internal' option much more aggressively now. Not like these options did not exist but they are much more actively persuing those options to 'send Pakistan 50 years behind'.

There have been so many other incidents I can cite which I have seen happening around me in the last few weeks but Im afraid I wont be able to post this post if I took too long to type and with the unannounced power outage, it is indeed like we have been successfully sent to some cave by this mafia. But guess what? I wish to announce here right now, no matter how much of their power these lucifier's agents exhibit over Pakistan's internal affairs to take it back to stone age, they are actually raising my faith and strength of Iman by that. So yeah, they may stop us from speaking or building a little community here discussing the truth & facts, they cannot shut us up.

Any remaining good people left in Pakistan have to take special notice of this thread and the fact that you have brought forward above. The anti pakistan mafia controlled government has instructions of not carrying out anything during their tenure which brings any good to Pakistan, its' economy, its' people. And do everything which is further taking it back to stone age. I can see it happening around me.

Off topic but I dont have time to create a new thread rightnow (electricity would be out any moment as we have it only for 4 hours), people beware of the fund created by the present government in the name of 'BENAZIR FUNDS' or something like that. They have created it (and so mny other things they are doing) upon the anti pakistan mafia's instructions. So people beware that the policies of this governments are going directly against the interest of Pakistani people. And this is done INTENTIONALLY. Please beware.

Im hoping to have a chance to get back here sometime but the mafia is cutting me (& many other patriotic pakistanis) off through using our own government.
