And then they say there is no Corruption

Re: And then they say there is no Corruption

What should be done is what benefits the common Pakistani person. In 99.999999% of cases that means doing the exact opposite of what Posh Spice says. In this case the deal from Iran is very good. It benefits us. It is cheap and it build ties with our neighbors. Which is a great thing.

Screw the US and their views. Screw the sanctions. The US also placed on Iraq when Saddam was in power. We all know how many innocent children that killed.

Do the deal. Get the energy. Help the common man.

Very good.

On your next trip from Sudan, just put a Kunda on iranian lines and stretch it from Iran to Pakistan. Shabash.

Electricity Problem solved!

ps. This kunda mentality will never go away. Such is the fate of many Pakistanis.

Re: And then they say there is no Corruption

I guess Posh Spice doesn't care about the common Pakistani man. Obviously considering he lives in the US. Bloody ABCD.

Wow

????

Quite a long reply, i must say that they allowed the time to type and post, you should be grateful to them…

Anyway, they way things are going below are some facts

  1. Private Power and Infrastructure Board shows table with installed, under-construction and under-study power projects in Pakistan, the site for some reason is not opening on my side…

  2. Pakistan signed MOUs to import hydro-electricity from Tajikistan, mind you, Tajikistan has the largest water resources to produce hyrdo power in the world and as of now they are only producing 1 or 2 % of it.. they are offering other countries/ private companies their rivers to build hydro power projects… as of now, they cannot provide any electricity to Pakistan.. but Pakistan still signed deals with them… and for someone’s interest, Iran is there in Tajikistan, 3rd largest investor in the hydro power sector after Russia and China…

  3. Like i said in point 2, Pakistan is signing documents to import electricity from the countries who do not have it to export, yet it is not paying any attention to the deals from the neighboring countries you actually have access electricity to export.. .Mind you, the electricity from Tajikistan has to go through Afghanistan and Pakistan may end up investing lot more in there to put up the distribution channels…

  4. Day before yesterday, The Minister for Power Crises and Cuts, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf ( not Musharaf) said that Pakistan is suffering from losses of billions of ruppees annually, and RENTAL POWER PROJECTS are the only SOLUTIONS… yet he is not talking about the available resources ( the power plants already available and are not producing due to non-payment and other reasons)

These facts and reputation of Zardari has made whole thing fishy…
