Hello all. I want to thank u all for the concerns suggestions tips etc.
I dint update earlier because one day things were good and second not so good. It was a tough rough but shukar ALHUMDULILLAH things are much much much better.
Girl is under control. How? Well 1. i realized she doesnt fear me as she always did hit him right in front of me. 2. I also noticed she only did this when her mom was around.
Soi did do wat some of u suggested. I treated her the same way she treated him. She pinched him i linched her. She hit him i hit her. Now it was all followed by a statement “did u like it? No right? Baby doesnt like it either” or " that hurt right? It hurts baby too" n that did the trick.
Also i was more vocal in every incident so the mother could hear. I also did get loud toned with the girl in front of mother and the result? Mother got more cautious and more preventive towards any incidnets as well.
Thanks all again. Once in a while she does hit him but she bears the consequences too.

have u considered jealousy?
maybe the little girl is jealous and as sahar said, just seeking attention. I’m sure before you bubba came along, all the attention was on the little girl.. but having another small cute thing in the house, has diverted the positive attention she was getting to him… and so now the kid is just playing up.. or hurting the thing that stole the attention from her?
IMHO the kid is too young to understand that they may be doing something wrong.. I know its difficult to keep baby glued to you all the time, but maybe this situation just requires you to put everthing else aside and make bubba your number one priority… and that means, stuff all the chores and things and be glued to him… and in doing so, also try giving positive energy to the little girl (minus the gifts and things)

Oh God this reminds me of my batameez n cousins in Pakistan 
. These kids are of a dheet kind and when I say dheet it’s DHEET! Lol I have ended up hitting one or two and it worked out in the end that way after being nice, vigilant, firm etc.
