well bindya appeared on tv as an english news caster, then worked in plays and in movies- as glamrous girl,disappeared in early 90’s, now she is working on tv again since 3-4 years, divorced twice and now married third time to a doctor lol…

In the 90s, she went to America and married the loser small time actor Asad Nazeer there who mistreated and defamed her.
Got divorced. Raised a daughter and then came back to Pak.

I was going to add Bindiya. She was no less an English newscaster and then she hit the films as glamour girl.

PTV Global is playing her serial Din these days.

Definitely. I saw it recently. It is cute. His son is being played by Aneeq Naaji who does the show Talaash also on Duniya TV like Hasb-e-Haal. It was interesting to see him acting.

So that is an example of actor turning anchor. :)

Sofia Shahid (PTV Islamabad Newcaster) also acted against Ayub Khoso in Wasi Shah’s Aahan.

graceful lady with superb voice, she also did voice over in urdu version of some national geographic documentaries aired in 1999-2000 from Ptv.

He (Noor hassan) used to host shows on channel-3 in 2003-2005, then jumped into acting

can not forget Aahan. It was a thriller. It was aired on PTV back in 1997. My family used to watch it. I think, Wasi Shah also acted in aahan as a hero.

Azfar Rehman started out as a bad anchor on TV1.
