Rizwan Wasti
He was english newscaster on ptv in late 60′s.It was no surprise when directors like S Suleman tapped his talent in *Baharein Phir Bhi Aayengi (1969) and Saeed Rizvi inShanee *(1989) among other ventures. Since the early 70s, Rizwan Wasti was a regular on TV till his death in 2011; his wife Tahira Wasti evolved from an accidental model (initially known as Mrs. Rizwan) into one of the most beautiful and versatile writers/actresses produced in Pakistan.

Sahira Kazmi started as English newscaster.

Sofia Shahid (PTV Islamabad Newcaster) also acted against Ayub Khoso in Wasi Shah’s Aahan.

I was going to add Bindiya. She was no less an English newscaster and then she hit the films as glamour girl.

PTV Global is playing her serial Din these days.
