Anarkali for Mahndi

Hi all Guppies,
I am looking for a anarkali for my Mendhi. I was thinking about the Nomi Amsari, Suneeta Marshall wore the same anarkali for her Mendhi. Can u girls please give your suggestions, but the anrkali has to be decent and uniqe. Please send anarkali pictures for Mendhi.

WOW..Anarkali is a dress style... i never knew that. I thought you were asking about Anarkali bazaar in Lahore :D

Well I still do not know what makes a dress an Anarkali dress. Seems to me the usual stuff. Whats the difference?

Ujala, I think a lehnga or a gharara would be a tad much for a mehndi function with 150-200 people. An anarkali, on the other hand, would rock! You can make the pajama out of the bottom chatta patti part and the pishwas green same colour as in the lehnga and same kaam as on the shirt. Have pink accents all over instead of a pink bodice. Keep the dupatta the same. Go for a long braid coming from back to front with a paranda or a flower choti. I am not too crazy about Suneeta’s anarkali that Nomi Ansari created. To me that green was too green. Here are the pics:

How about this one? Outfits with a ribbon passing through the shirt or the bottom of the lehnga/anarkali are my current favs. Imagine this one in mehndi colours. Oooooh! It’ll be unique and eye catching.

If this is Anarkali, I do not think I will go for it on my mehandi or any other wedding. Sorry its just my choice… may be the material and colors used here are not that great.

For my mehendi I have bought a green anarkali with golden kaam on it, Im loving it (obviously!)
