where can i get nice pishwas for my mehendi ? will pishwas still be in next year june?
i was thinking of the colors mehendi green yellow and ferozi
with a really heavy embrodery dupatta

If you mean an anrkali style thing, it should be in next year too I think. Can you get in from Pakistan, if so, which city are you talking about? Colors sound pretty!!

From Karachi, you can get anything from Tariq Road, try PLK wedding dresses on main Tariq Road or Jabeen's etc, or even Rabi Center. PLK was always on time for me with teh stitching etc. If you want something more high end try the designers on Zamzama street. There are many stores there. Do post pics of the kind of colors you ahve in mind, it would be nice to see!

hmmm the options are endless! Im sure they're all over the place: boutiques, designers, ready made at bazaars, getting the kaam done urself:)
Dont make a decision (especially a year in advance) until you go there and see things for uself...you might like another color combination....:)

Is the pishwas the latest fashion trend? I just went to a mehndi, and a lot of girl were wearing one..it looked so beautiful..
I think a bride wearing one on a mehndi would look adorable..

yeah, those anarkali type dresses with variations are really in these days. A lot of the boutiques that i saw ni karachi this past month had them displayed on dummies and what not...

You can get a pishwas made from anywhere…just show them the design/photo…pishwas has been around forever..
i saw a few on Maria B’s website..you can always modify the colors/patterns

Has anyone ever tried contacting MariaB via email? I sent her an email asking if making it in another colour and adding little sleeves was possible but no reply :(
