ANAA stands for the Asian American Network Against Abuse (of Human Rights). The Association has brought forth the tribulations of Mukhtaran Mai and Shazia Khalid and Aisha Parween. The President Amna Buttar had organized a peaceful rally in Pakistan against the suspension of Iftikhar Chaudhry and was sexually harrassed.

ln the words of Amna:

"I am in Pakistan now, and was at supreme court protest.
I was going inside the gate with the crowd when several police men wearing anti terrorist squad tshirts started grabbing me and starting touching my butt and other private areas. I realized that I was being pushed into a group of men whose purpose was to inappropriately touch me and I turned around and started to walk out of the gate and then this one guy pushed me down and got on top of me started to really go after me and touch my pubic area and I was in a sajda position kneeled with him on top of me. I was finally able to wiggle out from under him, and that is how I got scraped on my left knee and ankle. I have a six inch laceration non my left knee, and a two inch one on my ankle. My left arm is entirely bruised, and I have bruises on my neck and back.

I am sure that I was marked for this terrorization.
