An-Nisaa (Qur’an, 4:3)

Re: An-Nisaa (Qur’an, 4:3)

So Geneva Convention says that if a soldier wants to sleep with a POW captive, they can?

Re: An-Nisaa (Qur’an, 4:3)

lol, did you mean 'if' it said that?

Look, either way its no, since they are not slaves.

Re: An-Nisaa (Qur’an, 4:3)

but according to some "right hand" is the same as a war captive.

Re: An-Nisaa (Qur’an, 4:3)

  1. Does it mean that the verses re Sleeping with the right hand possession’ are outdated?

  2. What about the morality when these verses were not outdated?

I can agree that the concept of ‘Morality’ differs from period to period. But in this case we are discussing a matter supposed to be narrated by Allah.

Re: An-Nisaa (Qur’an, 4:3)

Morality shmorality…mutual agreement is greater and better.

Re: An-Nisaa (Qur’an, 4:3)

its not qadiyani website, but of “rashid khalifa”, he claims to be the “prophet of the covenant”. the guy famous for the miracle of 19 in quran.

Re: An-Nisaa (Qur’an, 4:3)

They can’t be outdated because the verses deal with both wives and slave girls (not only slave girls) so only the slave part isn’t applicable now.

Re: An-Nisaa (Qur’an, 4:3)

yeah.. just as i thought.. u can’t be original even when trying to mock!! story of your life.. everything u ever know or believe in comes from someone elses work.. sometimes hundreds of year old. You can’t break out of it.. just have to follow surrendering your own mental faculties if any..

Re: An-Nisaa (Qur’an, 4:3)

^ Why not make up a new Quran while you’re at it? :hehe: Afterall it’s been 1400 years and you certainly wouldn’t mind a few “modifications” to please your masters. It would make conversation at all those cocktail parties so much easier

Can’t decide what’s more pitiful, your raving ignorance or your mental incarceration to the West.

**Those are they whose hearts, ears, and eyes Allah has sealed up, and they take no heed. **

(Quran 16:108)

Re: An-Nisaa (Qur’an, 4:3)

what's the obsession with the "West" .. who is this "West" anyway.. we have Iran to our west.. is that what u're talking about? or is West that place you lined up 3 days to get a visa for and were denied?

bring forth arguments that matter.. what's your understanding of "ma malakat aimanukum" and why.. what's is the basis of your own understanding.. let's discuss ideas.. not just rehash unimaginative scholarly opinion.

Re: An-Nisaa (Qur’an, 4:3)

I am sure you are above such petty things like a visa, with your mighty and sacred citizenship. Congrats, I am sure you earned it. :hehe:

Unfortunately I study these archaic things called hadith to understand the Quran. You see, unlike you I am not gifted enough to understand the Quran in its entirety and with utter assurity. I prefer to take the last messenger’s word for it after all, he is said to be the living example of the Quran.

So here is another strictly Quranic reference for you

To you be your Way, and to me mine.

Its ok brother, Allah baaz logoun kaye diloun per moharr laga daita haye and they just never open. Life of Rasool :saw: aik mazaak bann ker reh gayee haye to these people( Nawoozbillah ). You know I respect some people who deny hadiath because it contradicts Quran, but I feel pitty for those people who outright deny any hadiath because it MIGHT be fabricated. It’s like this ’ I love you Ya’ Rasool :saw: you are my savior , but I can’t follow what you have showed us; as your teachings might be fabricated and hence flawed.’ Afsos.

Re: An-Nisaa (Qur’an, 4:3)

Right on.

People post here to find a perfect answer like some certified scholars are behind this board and will come out to reply in a perfect way. People fail to realise that most of the time the replies here are from average users who know a little about Islam (well maybe a little more). So if someone is really looking for a proper answer or trying to understan the actual meaning than go consult a muslim scholar who I am sure will satisfy you with a proper answer in the light of Quran and Hadith. But than there are people who would like to twist things and show Islam as bad religion just to get some satisfaction or something.

You wanna discuss something sure discuss but don’t twist things to make Islam (or any other religion) look bad or bad Muslims.
