Nazir Naji Sahib is correct in saying that when Government of Pakistan discriminated against Ahmadis based on religious differences, it was like opening a Pandora’s Box full of Mulla’s unjust demands. I want to add though, that Ahmadis are that rare group of Muslims who are continously persecuted against, but who never become violent against anyone.
Re: An interesting discussion about Ahmadies on Pakistan TV Channel
Both of You!!!
I don't know which religion or faith you follow!!!
But Islam has its own boundaries, I know for the fact that MQM's basic philosophy is against Islam that is dividing the nation on ethnic differences... So i understand the feeling of Khekeshan like people..
Now As for M2k.. his knowledge base is limited to the people he meets in the tube... Just for your info.. there was a great debate in National Assembly, where Main stream leaders of Ahmadies were invited and given opportunity to defend themselves... it is then and there when these Ahmadi Leader said that they believe in the prophet-hood of Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadyan... and that was it.. No body can remain muslim and at the same time he consider somebody else ( other than Prophet Muhammad (SAAW)) his prophet... Now I don't know what is yoru level of Islamic Knowledge as ur other knowledge seems to be below average... so thats why i have not gone into details...
I have asked Kehkeshan to tell me what is his believe about Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadyan... Was he a Prophet??? and what do he think about the persons who believe in the prophecy of Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadyan...
Re: An interesting discussion about Ahmadies on Pakistan TV Channel
There is no doubt that Ahmadis are non muslims but it doesn't mean that they should all be killed and murdered. There should be a media campaign to stop any violence against Ahmadis as they are humans and Pakistani citizens.

No they should not be prosecuted or killed without sane reasons... this applies to all majority and minority clans of Pakistan... but at the same time... Ahmadies should not pose them as Muslims.. they are minority.. they have their own quota in Colleges and govt jobs...
Re: An interesting discussion about Ahmadies on Pakistan TV Channel
Look guys I am unfortunately not a practicing Muslin but I think no one is stopping Ahmadis in believing whatever that is they want to believe in...............But to be called a Muslim you cannot play with the concept of Khatm e Nabowat and still insist at being called a Muslim. Christians believe in Jesus being son of god, now you cannot deny that and be called a Christian, to be called an Ahmadi one has to believe in Mirza, if I were to say that I do not believe in Mirza but called myself an Ahmadi it be senseless. Similarly, to be called a Muslim there are some fundamental beliefs (Khatm e Nabowat being one) that every Muslim knows well and I dont need to repeat especially at this forum not being a religious forum.

I agree, it's been discussed millions of times on religion forum already.
Re: An interesting discussion about Ahmadies on Pakistan TV Channel
Odd how people forget the last sermon of the Holy Prophet. I would generally state that you guys are uneducated on religion. Read the last sermon, in arabic, hebrew what have you. It is openly stated that there shall be no Prophet after Hazrat Mohammed (SAW).
Re: An interesting discussion about Ahmadies on Pakistan TV Channel
^^ Ahmadies are not muslims...
This was declared in early 70s.. now i don't know y Ahmadies are trying to call themselves muslims... .
from purely islamic point of view they cant call themselves muslims if they say Mirza sb was their prophet, i m not sure they say that as gone through their sites and their they seems to say he was mehdi.
Re: An interesting discussion about Ahmadies on Pakistan TV Channel
^^ Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadyan, First Claimed to be the Mehdi, then later He went for the title of Promised Massiah and finally He announced his prophethood.
You can check the recent and old discussions on Ahmadiyat / Qadyaniat in the Religous Section of Gupshup. There is a group of people in Ahmadies ( the Lahori Group) who do not believe that he was a Prophet but yes they consider him as Mehdi.
Re: An interesting discussion about Ahmadies on Pakistan TV Channel
There is this grave misconception among muslims that shahadah or Kalima tayyiba can be translated as ..."and Muhammad (saw) is His Last Messenger"... the word Last has been incorporated into the translation by the mullah.
Also, all references can be made to the last sermon, but the fact is that a prophet will be coming to the world according to all orthodox muslims. i.e., Jesus (as). Mullahs explain this problem by stating that Jesus (as) was a prophet so his prophethood somehow lies before the final prophethood and his second coming will be only a minor footnote in the history of religion.. How logical!!
Re: An interesting discussion about Ahmadies on Pakistan TV Channel
Destino the words of the Holy Prophet (SAW) stand simple and true. You either believe it or you don't. But please don't twist religion to fit your personal goal. We already have enough Taliban doing it already.
Re: An interesting discussion about Ahmadies on Pakistan TV Channel
Some of you have this fundamental inability to understand that it doesn't matter whether ahmedis consider themselves muslims or other muslims consider them non muslims. It is everyone's private matter of personal faith. And the state should never be involved in making such decisions or next thing you will end up with shias declared as kafirs, barelvis declared as kafirs, even sunnis declared as kafirs if you wait long enough.
